Yacht exterior light visual bugs and mesh glitches.

Sooo, I made a bug report on the Rockstar forums. And for some reason the incompetence there is so real, that they reply to a bug report with an automated response that doesn't even suit as a reply to a bug report. Replied to the message 2 days ago asking if I could get a real response, but ofc if they can't make an automated one they don't seem to do anything.

So yeah, the issue at hand is that at some spots that you can anchor your yacht, the exterior lights will bug out. So far I've only seen 2 types of bugs about them, and it doesn't happen in every spot. At some places it's just one of the 2, at some places it just doesn't happen, and in other spots you get the joy of both. Also, if you get placed in another spot in an area where the first spot makes you glitch, it is possible that the lights won't be bugged. But they will still be once you are returned to the first spot of that area (sorry if this was confusing).

As far as I have seen, this happens everytime your yacht is anchored infront of the pier of los santos with the rollercoaster and everything. I doubt this is something that is fixeable without modding tools as it seems like the mesh is just bugged. But if you know how to fix this either way, please leave a comment!

It happens in a lot of places, and it is always that staircase on which it happens, the one on the other side is completely fine. The thing with this is that if you go down the stairs towards the little dock, and you look at the bugged stairs, they light will be there. Once you get too close, the light dissapears again. Changing your video settings does not help this at all.

If you can't provide any help but you are "suffering" from this annoying bug as well, please leave a comment as I would love to know I'm not the only one.

I've noticed this, I also get glitched lights inside the cabin at the bottom of the stairs near the first aid box. I get bright flashing colours on my screen in the hot tub and when flying around the yacht (tested on 3 different graphics cards with single and multi-GPU with same results).

I wonder if this is the game engine reaching limitations or if it was just badly tested, but it doesn't feel well made either way.

It really doesn't. I doubt it is the limitation of the game engine, pretty sure they were too hasty in putting stuff together and just ****ed up a bit. Either way it sucks cause I can't look past it... Atleast I'm glad I don't have the flashing lights in the hot tub x_x sorry that you have it though :s
