First person or third person view?

First time playing this game, should I be playing in 1st person or 3rd person view for the optimal experience? What do you guys think?

Third. First person is fun, but third person in most games is more useful. Peek around corners with the camera, judge distances better, etc. But first person can be fun.

Fair enough I mean up until this GTA you never even had the choice of first person if I'm not mistaken?

I own GTA for PS3 and bought it for PC recently because i saw some nice first-person fotage. However iam barely using 1st person. Its fun and all but it gets kinda annoying after some time.

depend in your playstyle, if you are casual and doing some fun play like you want, if you are a shooter skilled play first person

Personal preference and likely situational to most people. If you want a truly immersive experience you should play in first person mode.

I fly aircraft in fpv and I love it. I drive cars in 3rd person because you cant see enough in the cars... fov feels 2 narrow

I switch between the two depending on what I'm doing. If I'm riding as a passenger in someone else's car, I like to shoot at people in first person. If there's cops after me though, third person it is. Also, driving in first person is a pain in the ♥♥♥♥ unless it's something lifted like a Sandking or Insurgent.

Whatever takes your fancy, i prefer third as it allows me to get a bette view of the environment plus I'm used to playing GTA like that.

I love first person. It just gives a new perspective to this game. but if i do PvP or something like that i dont use it because it can be disorienting. But if i am doing PvE missions or just cruise around i use first person :)

you are wrong mate and you're not an fps player, first person to fight allow you to straff right and left, it's the best for shooting

GTA V is a cover based third person shooter. When you are in first person and go into cover you dont have any chance.

say the noob, are you sure? this is why i play all round first person and i kill everything, excuse me i dont need the 3rd person to watch angle, i have reflex, aim, brain, and gamesens, i dont play counter strike since 10 years for nothing, you can only trust me i see many noob while in cover they just out of their ♥♥♥♥♥ cover and they die because they wait so much.... dont believe, need 1vs1 noob, you will see anyways if you wait too much i know where you are and you take a rocket in your ass

Did i say something that offend ya or is your dong really that small ? I just say that Third person is better because GTA V is a Cover based game.

dude you are a casual player, i'am pro shooter with awesome aim, so don't say your garbage to me and other player when you are just a casual player with no skill
