Vehicle Mod Replacement won't work

I used Open IV to replace the in game police cars with real life ones, I repaced police-police3 according to instructions online, and I can see from open IV that the model has been replaced, but when I entered the game, I found out that those police cars are still the original ones, can someone please tell me what went wrong?

Dont Mod.

Mods broke GTA Online becuase of modders QQ'ing about R* banning modding. Now we have to allow people liek you to do stupid things that in result also allow others to ruin online play.

If you mod, even for single player, you are part of the problem that has all but ruined online capability for this game.

Jus to add I dont think the modders updated scripthook and the other .net mod i cant remember the name that you need to run other mods. I could be wrong i havent been to the mod site in a week or two

I am not being a ♥♥♥♥, I am being factual.

Modding is not blockable in GTA-V online without blocking it in SP too, becuase it is acomplished through DLL Injection.

DLL Injection, in ANY instance with computer networking, is not only dangerous (mods can when programed to, and have been used to, change data on peoples PC's), but also un-disernable between online or offline usage.

Therfore the ONLY way to nesure fiar online play was to ban ALL forms of DLL Injection, which R* did. This broke modding in SP, thus the modders QQ'd like babies becuase they couldnt change R*'s game how they felt they should. R*, facing a deluge of bad PR form a minority group of players had to copitulate and give in.

They removed said blockage of DLL Injection.

Within 24hrs online was a hack-fest and has remained that way since.

Their only recourse now is to retroactivly ban players after the fact once they have in-game actvity that shows as modding.

Sorry that I feel that online integrity of the game, and SAFTY to the players, is more important than changing car skins...

And I play in closed lobbies with friends. Modders already ruined pub lobbies.

Well i dont know what any of that .Dll ♥♥♥♥ means but if someone wants to screw around with their SP why do you or n e else care. I dont know his story but I mod or try to anyway lol but i dont tempt fate and go online even though I could and shouldnt be a problem accroding to R* and plus the fact I have no malicious intent toward other player nor givin my self any kind of advantage what so ever. Been playin online since freakin Doom in mid 90's and never once felt the need to use any kind of cheat online just defeats the point ya know.

there is always those that will. Be nice to have all my mods installed and play online and keep the 2 seperate but its always the few that ♥♥♥ it up for the whole

DLL Injection allows you to mod over a game by using a third party program. Its a breach of the End User Agreement as players should not be able to adjust or alter the game's state without the consent of Rockstar. Mods aren't there for a reason. Regardless of SP or MP.

and thats awesome bet u have a great time in closed lobbies. The way it meant to be played. Wish i could but i jus dont have enough online friends to do so. Not one of boys even own a pc in RL aparently im the only "nerd" in 20 miles where i live lol.

Well the pinned post by R* here states otherwise that they love the pc modding community but like all of us hate chaters. There really is a diffrence my friend :)

i just want to be able to change the weather in my game to stormy. and teleport to my destination. OO and fix my car because my ocd kicks in when a window breaks and i have to save and reload. go figure

As long as what you meant by "fixing your car" only meant aesthetically and not the actual HP of the car then no, that's not cheating.
