Can I play gta 5 on pc with my freind on xbox one

the other day i was playing gta online and when i looked at the players in lobby i saw that there were people with controllers so i did more reaserch and you can use your xbox conntroller on gta5 pc i knowing myself got confussed and asked my pal we really want to play iin a lobby again can someone help?

i use a xbox controller but on my pc. GTA is not a cross platform game sorry. far as i know only FF14 has that honor.

if it is ever made cross platform then pc and consoles could play on same servers and interact. they just choose not to in order to better lock down the source code and prevent hacks better.
