World Map/Textures not loading fast enough
I solved this issue a while back simply by reducing some graphic settings but after the latest patch the problem came back. Tried making gta.exe priority and the affinity method in task manager but both didnt work. Any suggestions?

Giving system specs might help

Sorry was in a rush to work when I posted this. Its on my: ROG G751 Gaming Laptop. The cards a Nvidia 860m and an intel i7 2.5ghz procesor. I also already changed the settings in the nvidia control panel to make sure its using my card. It gets an average of 62 fps on medium settings so its not running slow or nothing. From what I read it seems the processor cant keep up loading the world. Odd that its doing this again after the "Executives and Other Criminals" update, it ran perfectly find before.

i'm having the same problem
Edition: Windows 10 Home
Processor: AMD A6-4400M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 2.70 GHz
Installed RAM: 6.00 GB (5.46 GB usable) <one of my problems i'm aware of now.
System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Not sure what else doesn't meet the requirements as the only thing i understand is the RAM GB i have

use an ethernet cable and not wifi

When I game on my laptop I always use a ethernet cable haha.

Also I was able to solve my problem. It seems that it was Nvidia's "Shadow Play" recording app. I turned it off and the game was able to keep up with my Akuma haha (Tested it by racing through the city in the more heavy populated areas). My best bet was that shadow play was using up the extra memory GTA needed to load the game's assets fast enough.

I also forgot to mention that I have 8gbs of ram on my laptop.

Im thinking it may be your ram. GTA V seems to be more ram/processor heavy then graphics.

Thats wierd thats happening I had almost the same specs before minus the card as you did (instead I had a gtx 670 before i upgraded to a 980ti recently). My old card and rig was handing it on high settings without the map loading issues. As I mentioned in my other post do you happen to use any video recording programs while playing? Maybe try disabling them if you do.

If youre processor cant keep up you can try to force the game to reduce cpu load by:
locking framerate
increasing graphics settings to reduce fps

I had to do this for my g3258 OC + gtx 960
the cpu cant render the map properly if its above 60 fps.

i also noticed every patch makes the game a little more cpu intensive

Thats funny. Maybe it's Shadow Play xD I use it too and its every time in the background. I never had problems with Shadow Play before but maybe it's better for GTA when i shut this down.
I'll try it.

get a better toaster. I suggest one with 3 bread slots, 240 watt outlet compatibility, a highly configurable toast intensity switch, and an all aluminum external shell.

Actually since the patch my PC as well has had slight issues (not as bad ass my laptop) as far as map loading. Disabling shadow play on it also solved it. So far seems like GTAs the only game I noticed has had noticable issues with shadow play. Damn that patch though haha. Glad to know it solved your problem though!

Whats your average toast time though? I benchmarked my toaster rig at 2 breads per seconds. Is it worth overclocking it? Im thinking of upgrading to the new GTX Waffle Maker.
