game load error - Launch game with custom arguments - Rage plugin hook - Steam

hey guys,
so i have just purchased a new pc about 2 days ago and am trying to download lspdfr



i am using steam to download gta 5.
once downloaded i have gone into game for a pre start to make sure it installed properly, i than have followed the youtube video for full install and plugins
ive completed the main lspdfr download with scripthookv, ScriptHookVDotNet, ragenative, resource adjuster and simple trainer
and have added the first lot of setting as intructed by video but when i go to first launch lspdfr i get the

-skipPatcherCheck -launchTitleInFolder "C:\Program Files (x86)\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V"



i have uninstalled and redownloaded twice now and keep getting the same thing and when i hit continue it loads but crashes as soon as rage plugion hook show populating game world

Are you using these custom arguments in the steam launch options? There shouldn't be any need for that. Just fire up RPH after you got LSPDFR/RPH installed and play.

Also - when you install mods... you don't grab a handleful and slam them in. You install 1 and test. Then the next, and test. It makes it easier to know what worked, what didn't - and exactly which one is causing issues.

edit// below- Yep. Update hit on 25th, and lspdfr/rph were updated 2 days after? scripthookv was updated yesterday morning or so. Testing one at a time would give the outdated error on scripthook if going that route/using outdated mods.

edit - some users are also reporting they are having much better success using nightly versions of scripthookvdotnet if you have slapped in anything requiring that as well.

also you hit a point of time were a new gta update was just rolled out. so make sure again you have ALL latest versions of lspdfr, rage, scripthookV and whatever you've installed. with els there is also a new advancedhook version out. make sure again to have everything NEW because most of them have changed in the last 2 days.
there's no need for any commandline or such.

Hey i have not changed any of the load arguments on steam i also hadn’t changed the command line or anything as i am new to modding i did i loaded one by one as to which i did when i had it previously downloaded on my old pc which it worked fine

I have a feeling that i had downloaded the mod probably an hour after the new update

So ill be trying again tomorrow to see if i can get it going again
