Rockstar services down?

The rockstar launcher won't let me in because their services are down - does this block me entirely from playing the game? Seriously?

Always-online. So outside of the single player game, you need a internet connection to play GTA Online.

Try again then. It will sometimes error once or twice before finally launching.

Got a fix.

Disconnect your internet and launch the game. It'll launch in offline mode at this point, and may take a couple of tries.
