Bought the game and when i tried to play online this error popped up every time, after a couple of hours it randomly went off, and i was able to play online for a day. Then the same error came back and i cant play online for 2 days. I've tried everything that all the forums said, i've tried to reinstalling my game, i've tried to get help from r* support twice, and it wont help me. I dont know what should i do please help me

When I did a search here all I saw was your post .... DARN
BUT when I did a similar search of the Net I did see several like this ...
https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=could+not+download+files+from+Rockstar+game+service&&view=detail&mid=2EF3EF1E1B8C144CB1792EF3EF1E1B8C144CB179&&FORM=VDRVRV

Which made me very hopeful as there where many titled ...
SOLVED , could not download files from Rockstar Services.
The exact terminology you used, so they must have gotten the exact same pop up.

Crank up the happy music, and I hope this get's you going.

I'm not the best at trouble shooting this type of issue, but when i try to help you it should at least attract the Trolls if only to argue about ... whatever.
But I will try to get the ball rolling.
The fact that you where able to Play at some point leads me to believe that it's not some type of firewall issue. And I'm going to take for granted that your internet connection is not the problem either.
Just a question, how have you been launching the game ?
VIA the R* Launcher or from your STEAM Library.
Does Starting in Story Mode, and then going into Online have any different results.

Don't get offended, but I must ask ..
Are you using any Mods ?

Ok with that out of the way, There might be a possibility it is a Server issue in your Region, but that also seems unlikely over such a period of time. When you say "Files" it makes me want to ask have you tried re-downloading the R* launcher. Have you tried deleting the Social Club Folder here ..
Documents>Rockstar>
to force a re-load from the Cloud ?
These are all basic remedies for many R* Launcher issues.
You state that you have tried remedies suggested on the "Forums" so I think you may have already done a search of these Forums on this topic, but if not give that a try, and also a search of the net, and see what comes up.

First of all, i am very grateful that you trying to help me. So i tried to launch the game from both rockstar launcher and steam - same result
Starting in story mode - no result, i am not using any mods, and i've tried to deleting social club folder

Ok, we had to cover that ground and try the easy fixes first, so your feed back is helpful.
As stated previously, I admit to not being the best at trouble shooting these things, but I will not give up until one of the resident experts take notice. And I am 100% sure that this issue will be resolved, just hang in there and if you need to bump this thread .... don't be shy.

Over at the GTAForums there where others this has been effecting recently. Opinions there are that it's not you. It's the Servers.
DEAD MEAT Jun 12, 2021 @ 9:49am
Here is the Server Checker i use.
Sometimes in the Chat you can see if anybody else is experiencing what you are.
https://downdetector.com/status/gta5/
You do not need to be a member to add to the data ... do it, it may help others when you simply hit the "report Problem" button.
Try not to stress and head over to the GTAForums and ask around.
https://gtaforums.com/
I'm starting to think it's them and not you.

It's been a while since I had to experience Server issues, but there have been times over the years when I could not play for a day or two, because of their servers. And sadly their ( R* ) page with the green lights that indicate no problem ...
You guessed it their always green and don't mean crap.

NP
Let's hope it will not be that long.
But at least now you are not fiddling around with your Software without due cause.
And you have every right to be disappointed.

Make sure your NAT is open & also try to use a vpn to see if it works that way.

If you mark it as solved, you might help others, the one about the Launcher that did it so as not to confuse .... not the long gibberish I posted.
