Rockstar, wtf?

In story mode, you can spend over $10,000,000 on a plane. If you crash that plane, it never goes away; it will ALWAYS show back in the hangar.

But if you buy a CAR that costs millions of dollars, and you die in it or something, it's just gone. No getting it back. Check the garage you bought, check the vehicle impound, check your characters house... The extremely fast and expensive cars you buy in this dumb game are all gone.

I just had to do a stunt jump, where you have to perfectly land your car... INSIDE THE PRISON. Why did Rockstar add these garbage jumps? Because once you land in the prison, you die in like 5 seconds because of snipers.

That just happened to me, and now I'm all the way at the hospital with no car anymore... And it is just so stupid.

If you want to 100% the game, or if you want to get an achievement, you need to complete 50 garbage stunt jumps. They are honestly so terrible; you never know WHERE the game wants you to land, and you don't know how fast to go, or if there are other cars blocking your landing... It takes like 3 minutes to do a single jump. Multiply that by 50, you get 150 minutes, or 2 AND A HALF HOURS... of just anger and disappointment.

And now my car that costed millions of dollars is completely gone, and I just have to hijack a garbage car from the street like everyone else does. Why do planes and helicopters NEVER go away no matter what, but all the cars you buy get deleted extremely fast?

This game costs $60, is like 7 or 8 years old, and is EXTREMELY successful, AND made by fricking ROCKSTAR, and yet these problems have still not been fixed? I know this discussion I made has been talked about hundreds and hundreds of times, but that's just how ANNOYING it is...

Rockstar is STILL updating Online mode, and even there, the cars and garages actually work. So why do they care so much about their precious online mode, but not the actual story mode? Surely it's an extremely easy fix, so I really just don't understand why they haven't fixed this issue in over 7 years.

Do y'all have ANY tips as to how to get cars back?

I have over $700 million, I guess my point wasn't exactly the cost... My point was mainly, it's annoying to buy a car on the internet, then wait for the car to arrive, go to your garage, take it to LS customs, spend more time sifting through the options and making the car better, and then actually driving the car. It takes like 10-15 minutes to do all that, and the car just gets deleted very fast. It gets very annoying to keep doing that over and over and over...

Also, how is this a "completely irrelevant" topic? It's literally discussing how the cars you buy in the game get deleted... Irrelevant would be if I was talking about, like, Rocket League or something...

But this topic probably is pointless, because Rockstar will never fix this. Like, why spend the time on getting a good car, when you can just buy a fast jet or plane, and just jump out of it to get from point A to point B...

Your cars aren't being deleted though, you're destroying them in stunt jumps or they're being taken away by the cops. If anything the game could have used some more grounded mechanics like that. If you just want the system to not take your cars away then just use a trainer. It's single player, no one will care.

I thought it was common knowledge not to use one's own vehicles for stunt jumps, guess I was wrong. Also, unless you haven't noticed; the whole point of a video game is to provide fun and entertainment, and to keep you occupied for hours at a time. You seem to want everything instantly, and very few things in GTA happen instantly, you might have picked up on that after the first 10 hrs of play.

I have over 100 hours in storymode and I've beat the game twice, so more than 10 hours. And no, I don't 'want everything instantly', I don't know what made you think that.

And who the hell thinks stunt jumps are 'fun and entertaining'? It's common knowledge that most people dislike the jumps.

well, when i destroy my bikes or cars... i just call the insurance people and they return it back
or, when its about to braek down (wehn you see black smoke) i just abandon it, move as far away as possible and request it back... and it comes back without a scratch and free of charge *(because the insurance on some vehicles has a deductible others are free)

stunt jumps in this game are a joke. the trashier car, the better. for the most part you literally need to watch out not to jump too far..

He's talking about single player, a ticket won't change the way the game is designed.

SP needed more Garage + if you car got destroyed. It should either respawn or call "mechanic etc" to get the car back like in Online.

But yea, since R* doesn't rly care.
U shouldn't bother with it either.

One more question I have though is about the Altruist guys. By the time I found out about this cult, I had already done all the strangers and freaks things, except for like 2 people. So I don't know if I can do the Altruist mission or not now... Are there any other ways to complete that mission?
