No missions after Franklin and Lamar Race Mission?

I tried calling Simeon he doesn't pick up tried, saved the game and reloaded. Replayed the mission again and there is no stranger and freaks events. Is it because I got gold medals on both missions?

Do I really have to start a new game? This game is full of hackers and glitches for PC, but works perfect for console.
