Help finding und using mods

Hi there,

after many years on playing on consoles (mainly handhelds) only I am back to PC gaming.

I want to play GTA V with mods. I only play single player. I am only interested in mods, thare are 'lore friendly' meaning graphics improvements, general improvements and remaster mods, 'lore friendly' additional content... Everything that enhances the singleplayer experiences.

I would want to mainly rely on well established mod packages, car packages... which add huge content ad once. But I would also maybe like to install some individual cars which I like in real life.

I am completly lost on how to find and install the mods. I already found modding sites but it's pretty overwhelming. Is there some king of tutorial on how to install them and som kind of list for improving the singleplayer story game and which mods are considered the best ones to do that?

Additionally: I play on Linux. Will this change the process on how to install mods? I will be using Win 11 in Dualboot soon. Should I switch to Windows for using mods?

Nah, I'm one of those who don't like to put some "home made" virus into original game purchased on Steam .
Trainers or cheating in online , who cares ? Do whatever you wants , your choice , your PC , your life ...
