GTA V usage of Ram

Hey guys, so I have 16 gb of RAM, and dont have any problems with the game, but i'm a little concerned...

Everytime I join a session it sits as 9 gb usage, and the longer I play, worse it gets, it is now at 13 gb.. is it normal?

I want to say yes and also depending on how many players in a session but ya you could get up to 13G quite easily

It probably keeps going up for loading times on the map...

Do you actually get frame drops when it's saying it is using 13GB?
I've played the game on both desktops and laptops with "only" 16GB RAM and never had problem. The only noticeable performance gains were when I upgraded the GPU and to lesser extent CPU.

13GB is a bit too much if only game is running, but maybe you have other stuff in background (browser with bunch of tabs etc?)

Are you running Steam / Discord Overlay and Browser in background by any chances?

No... I did'nt have any problems so far, I was just concerned about it reaching 15 GB and then start stuttering, but yesterday after 4\5 hours, it stayed in 13gb 13.200 max

As long as you have your pagefile on you’re fine. My gta usually tops out around 14GB.
