GTA Online is pay to win

if you know how to farm gta online good you never really need to buy any shark card, i guess before cayo / casino / doomsday it was hard to farm only the normal heists but there were less stuff to buy anyway

was farming with my brother and his friend, noone bought shark cards. even tho im novice, they both have 100+ lvl, much money, and didnt get money from cheaters. so its not p2w.

Pay to speed things up, yes. There's nothing locked behind a paywall that will give you a unfair advantage though, so it's not pay to win. Plus, if you're skilled enough, you can always run the overpowered Cayo heist for massive amounts of money, along with plenty of other heists.

That is not what pay 2 win means. If you can skip the grind you did with money it is.

Not really. If u buy a bunch of shark cards at level 5, you still cant buy any guns, or tanks or anything.

The cheats are a much bigger issue.

I would say it's more of a optionally pay to win. GTA Online is definitely a whale game. Nobody can deny that for a second. I've seen so many YouTube and TikTok 'content creators' buying up Shark Cards for in game cash to go troll and grief people to make their 'content'. Then there's the ones who don't want to grind and thow hundreds upon hundreds of dollars on Shark Cards. The game is optionally pay to win.
