It happens. Not sure if the $5000 bonuses I got are double this week but there you are.

You get it from doing higher than requested stuff. If their asking for a engine mod level 1, you do level 2 or whichever (and wait for the fireworks, heh). Same for brakes, suspension. Pretty much anything at a low or high level, you replace with something different than requested.

- You'll get chewed out via text if the customer doesn't like the upgrades, plus a pay reduction.
- You'll get a bonus if the customer likes the upgrades.

I haven't come across a instance where adding a turbo or bullet proof tires did anything. It's pretty much limited to leveled stuff like brakes, engine, and suspension -> that I know of, plus it has to be a requested item.

Personally, I only do as requested, but I have tried it in the past out of curiousity.
