yea try it again but "friends only session" and delete all your mods/cheats, use vanilla game only

GTA Online is a mess of bugs and glitches. Probably your typical run of the muck game problems. Lord knows this game is riddled with them. The cheaters also modify public sessions which in turn often breaks the game.

Maybe you are right, he should go in invite only session. Most of public sessions are not realaxed and there are modders and cheaters.
