PSA, personal vehicle sell prices will be (if not already) adjusted soon
Cause rockstar hate their playerbase and they want their sharkcard money, sell prices for personal vehicles will/have gone down

I won't get into the full details since other people have done it better but the tl;Dr is, sell one vehicle every 18 irl hours for the full price

Ugh. R* sure knows how to make a game depressing and unenjoyable.

Why you selling cars ?

It's already adjusted. 4th vehicle in one day gives like 5% of value.

Ouch. Not worth it.

Don't sell that much then.

Uh oh, I'm not liking the sound of that... Whenever Rockstar 'adjusts' something, it usually means nerfs and removals, heh.

We'll see of course.

Yup. Nerfs and removals to promote 'something' else.

Haha, pretty much.

edit:
Speaking of which, I better sell a few cars that I'm looking to get rid of now.

come on you had 10 years fun of car duping and it was already like this if you became too greedy and ended in the cheater pool for selling too many vehicles too fast

If I'm being honest here, I'm not sure that getting the next GTA Online will be worth it to me.

Rockstar isn't exactly implementing things into this game that will be very fun in the next GTA Online, and aside from graphics, I just don't see myself being interested in the next GTA Online just yet.. Unfortunately, nerfing the game is a double-edged sword. Sure it'll make the current game worse, but it will also lower interest in the next game.

It just sucks for players who want to clear out garages for new cars. Guess it's one car a day. Yes, R* is going against duplication glitches, but it's like at what cost? Making the game horrible for us players still playing? And I don't doubt that this is a test run for GTA 6 online, so it ain't as disastrous as GTA 5 online's was.

an honest player will never notice this nonsense because when would you sell your whole garage at once.

exploiter bypassed the old system which was avatar related by creating a second avatar and sold a whole arena garage full of car 100mio every 30h was a little bit too greedy for R* taste
it happened already so often
casino was fixed multiple times, the garage sale exploit, the airport exploit etc...

This was done to curb players exploiting any duplication glitches to sell their cars for 1.5m+ over and over and over again..

This doesn't really affect many players because the average/typical player doesn't sell their cars to the car shops unless they need to make room in their garage or make some quick money from a car they never plan to use.. So one or two cars every RL day isn't a stretch or unacceptable..

Meanwhile, someone selling dozens of cars each RL day is sus.. There's always been a timer to delay how many cars you can resell in a given period, and trying to sell more could result in a ban, so I actually think this option is better..

If you're trying to free up garage space, the price you are paid for the car should be less pertinent than the need for the slot.. otherwise you probably want to keep the car.

As a player that has had to liquidate some of his collection multiple times over to make room for newer cars, I've never been greatly impacted by the limit of 2 cars every 3 GTA days.. so if this resale "fix" affects you that greatly, then I'm suspecting you are upset that your duplication glitch can no longer exploit excessive amounts of cash.. in which case my heart pumps kool-aid for you..

Well never for me, sure, but I'm talking beyond one single change:

- Content gate'ed behind owning a console.
- A next gen upgrade gate'ed behind owning a console.
- Vehicle prices constantly increasing in this game.
- Constant nerfs to content.
- Removal of content to be placed behind a RNG wall.

It all adds up, and I definitely keep these things mind when thinking about buying the next game from a Studio.

This nerf affects legit players the same. Even second car sold same day already cuts sale price in half. If you think that only affects dupers you gotta be joking. If they wanted to hurt them, they should've reduced refund price for money spent on upgrades, cause that's what dupers gain profit from.
