Possible Rank Hack or Glitch?

Ok. So I was playing GTA V Online and I exited the game window to check a notification on my discord. But when I went back. I was introduced by a LOUD noise. I somehow received GTA RP points and was credited GTA $50,000. I went from Rank 11 to around rank 146 just by doing absolutely nothing. At first I assumed that I was being hacked so the first thing I did was to reset my password on Steam, Epic, and on almost all my socials and engines. Then I did a system scan and everything turned out to be ok.

I guess what I am asking is, has this happened to anyone? Is my PC infected? (Note that I did not click on any suspicious links or download any files).

How do I completely restart my GTA Online game. I want to earn my ranks and play the game itself.

Ur not hacked lol. Someone dropped collectables on you.

You can make a second character, and then delete the 1st one.

That said, u still need the cash to actually buy anything. I would suggest just rolling with it. Its possible that itll happen again.

I guess that makes sense. I started over anyways because I like to earn my rewards.
