It's always better to buy stuff when it's on sale. You will eventually get it. That being said, it takes about 4- 5 weeks to break even because the robberies are limited to 3 per week. The robberies are very fun, though; the entertainment value is very high.
If you like the game and keep plugging away you will have everything in about 4-6 weeks. Bottom line: the salvage yard will keep you playing.

What other things you have? I.e. if you don't own stuff like kosatka, agency and such, better get those first.

it is a business for bored people who already own all other businesses.
you can only do 3 heists each week and its rewards weren't that big, similiar to the miniheist from tunersgarage

rest is all about towing vehicles, which is also just pocketmoney compared to other businesses

I just did the 1st heist and waiting for R to let us buy the Torrero, since you are a beginner, it's worth it cause you get the truck to repo cars with 30-40k each run

Don't forget the passive income

Its alright

It's good for passive income and the tow truck missions, doing 2 should net you 24k per 48 min ingame whole day time, they are very easy and even fun. I usually do those in between. the 250k adds up. I've made the money back relatively quickly.

Bunker is good, the car warehouses are alright.

Get a kosatka, an agency, and the arcade. That should be ur main source of ez money. Scrap yard is alright tho. Better than ceo crates and MC businesses.

Then there's other things to buy first.. The properties Blunt noted are the ones you really want to focus on because you have opportunities to make more with those properties than you do a Scrap Yard.

If you're new to the game but have any friend(s) to help you learn the ropes, I might recommend starting with either Videogaddeon or 8-Bit arcades (each arcade location has it's own unique name and the two cheap arcades North of Sandy Shore are not worth buying). This is because the set up preps can be time consuming when soloing, but these preps are more forgiving (meaning the AI has less accuracy/damage/etc; all in all, they're easier).

If you're completely solo or can't rely on others to help you complete the Casino heist, as it requires 2 players minimum for the finale, then get yourself a Kosatka instead of an Arcade. The Kosatka can set up Cayo Perico heist, which can net you similar profits to the Casino heist but can be ran solo. It's worth noting that running the Cayo heist solo does put a 3½hr cool down on setting up the next heist. Also worth noting that the preps for Cayo may be smaller in number, and ultimately still require less time to complete, they are less forgiving/more difficult.

Agency has a VIP contract you can run for $1m payout at the end, and you can do the preps and finale solo or with other players. This is not a heist, so there are no cuts to split; host makes the $1m from finale, anyone else helping in the finale gets paid like any normal contact mission (~$20k). This can be reran after a 48 minute cooldown. The difficult through this varies. Some missions are easier than prepping the casino heist from your arcade, and other missions can be annoying until you learn their quirks..

the problem is i can't find a good way to earn 4 mil, tried playing in public lobbies to play with randoms but modders made that idea impossible, so im stuck playing alone in invite only sessions

I will always recommend cayo you need the kosatka, it's still the best money making method solo despite the stupid ass nerf however it will get very boring the casino heist is not very different i've done it a lot the final section of the heist gets even more old than cayo, time is the main factor I would consider here, you can do cayo very fast it's also incredibly easy, I would select agency next the contracts and payphone hits in between will make you 1 mil the the vip missions are fun but replaybility wise it's awful it's the second best option due to the cool down, add the new cluckin bell raid by vincent for easy 500k the duke is free and you can easily do the vincent missions. The money will add up fast.

Yeah the grind is going to be annoying, if this was pre cayo nerf you were lucky, fortunately I was here and one of the reasons it got nerfed was people were able to make over 100 mil very easily. Most of the money I have saved is all pre nerf cayo at 130 mil others made way way more possibly. The nerf payout plus cooldown is what ended it, many people just don't run it anymore me included because of more "fun" ways to make money.
