Waiting for the updated new console to come out this year or next.

It doesn't put GTA ahead of the competition. Basically, Rockstar took too long on releasing a new or even updating the graphics of their current GTA games, aside from SA, and have now fallen behind. As a result of this, I've already completely lost interest in the GTA story games, and lost interest in playing premades in general.
GTA Online is still ahead, but only because of the sheer amount of features that it offers when compared to most online games. It's still far behind in the graphics department, so until Rockstar releases a new Online or updates something in terms of GTA Online, then I'm pretty much not moving on to anything else in GTA.
