No, because it's a foolish idea the same way you wouldn't pre-order a car. Smart consumers wait for the product to be released first so they can observe and inspect it, then decide whether a purchase is forthwhile.

Oh and about the rumor, I think it's going to be the price of the "ultimate edition" or something like that. Let's hope that they are not locking the base game with that

I'm a rabid fan of the series since Vice city and gta3.... Not even my love for this game will allow me to buy it. I feel betrayed by it. It's gone sissified. From raw and politically incorrect, it will become a glorified barbie simulator with love and friendship. GTA5 has proven to be the last bastion of good gaming. Everything we learned in gta5, will be behind a paywall forcing us to buy shark cards. Life as we know will be subscription based from now on. You see gta5 plus. they will have gta6 plus and the only way to get online is to pay 5 usd monthly. It's gonna happen.

In my opinion and this is just my opinion, GTA 6 merely catches the GTA series up with the rest of the current gen games. That's it.

It doesn't put GTA ahead of the competition. Basically, Rockstar took too long on releasing a new or even updating the graphics of their current GTA games, aside from SA, and have now fallen behind. As a result of this, I've already completely lost interest in the GTA story games, and lost interest in playing premades in general.

GTA Online is still ahead, but only because of the sheer amount of features that it offers when compared to most online games. It's still far behind in the graphics department, so until Rockstar releases a new Online or updates something in terms of GTA Online, then I'm pretty much not moving on to anything else in GTA.
