Cayo Perico Heist - boats removed?

Doing the heist, we used to steal boats patrolling around the compound. In the last runs, there were no boats around, not a single one.

Did R* remove them in a recent patch?

It isn't that far when you can kill the first guard, steal the bike, and quickly kill the guards at the checkpoint and kill the CCTV camera

It's practically on the other side of the island...

The main dock is much closer.

The North Dock is better for solo heisters since near the Main Dock there's a hidden lever that need to be held down by two people to access the loot

It's actually still better overall because you if the bags aren't full you can pick up stuff from airstrip in less than 1 minute from the main docks by driving the boat direct to the air strip, it's what I do, always got elite too.

Anyways there's a glitch going on that allows you to clip through the keycard doors in the compound solo so people are just taking take from here and driving off the cliff.

The fastest way to do it is simply select longfin and pick main docks and launch the boat over the docks, collect the secondary drive to compound, main item, drive of cliff in left side of the compound gate, swim a bit done in 5 minutes the other areas are inconsistent

Roaming boats only spawn during 1st time scoping and finale. Outside that, the boats still spawns but only at docks or cliff near Compound.

The airstrip one is good too. I just don't see that much of a difference (if you want more loot) anyway when the boats are docked at the North Dock and that's the optimal route to bypass road patrols and directly go to the airstrip

I didn't bother to try any other approaches other than the drainage pipe approach with the Conspirator loadout but I can try other stealth approaches to see which is optimal

I also use the drainage tunnel due to consistency and I have more guards to kill for gate keys. Four hacks on hard are pretty tedious even if they are easy.

Driving straight to the compound from main docks is more faster as the guards outside the compound always drop a key. The other loadouts that have automatic pistols, make this really easy as you can just drop anyone while driving. It's just not fun for me tho, the drainage tunnel is more consistent for elites in my case.

There are four possible secondary loot spots at the main dock, only one of which needs two people.

Granted, one is further inland, but it's still closer than going to the north dock (or, god forbid, the airstrip).

There's usually plenty of loot in the two left-most spots to fill up your bag. It's only happened to me once that they weren't enough.

That may be the case now, but that's just confirmation that they've patched it, since I used those boats more than once.

just did a sloppy solo run now to test it. got boats south of the compound. easy escape.
