Can't play online

OG player here from 2014, came back a year later and now I can't play online and it says the servers aren't online. Any solution?

Potentially an I.p issue. Do you have a dynamic I.p? Maybe just resetting the router will work

yeah, it's true, you Can't play online,
there is literally so many cheaters packed together so densely, when u load into lobby, u cannot be there for 2 seconds or take 2 steps outside ur apt without cheat menu abuser disrupting, so u hit find new session, 5-6 times in a row same thing each time in each lobby, can't even use the in game chat anymore because, it's constantly flooded with spam advertising join this and that discord to buy cheats.. smfh.. disgrace of a state it has allowed to get to such a point.. rip public lobbies, hence rip gta online..
sounds like only way to play without cheaters now is to get into rp, & not every1 wants to do that, but i heard they care about cheaters on rp servers? but i wouldnt be surprised that even there, u can't escape them

it renders so much of the game obsolete, too
why exactly do you need god mode and explode entire lobby, when the game gives you jets, planes, tanks, grenade launchers, etc. to ur hearts content? can't even use any of that stuff just render it obsolete to even use the vehicles in the game when u have cheats.. stupid, waste..
they abandoned pc players, i watched a good YT explained it in depth called 'why r* will never win the war against the modders'. but they should have though, done something, they chose not to, and now it's all this.

It could be I have AT&T every time I visit a website they keep checking my IP like I’m a Terrorist

Thanks it actually Norton VPN that has been on since i built the computer in november.

did you get it fixed? it could be your vpn, they have been known to ban vpn ip's.

Yea it was the VPN didn't even know it was on. now i could play any EA game etc

The VPN is why you get your IP flagged on websites, as people use the same IP to do a variety of things. So not using the VPN would def help with loading speeds and not getting those warnings.

Cool you figured it out. Just sucks every modder gets your real IP because Rockstar blocks VPNs.

Rockstar doesn't block vpn users. Depending on what vpn service you use, they also come with additional firewall protection. So simply disabling the custom firewall or configuring it to allow gta through would be the solution

Obviously. I didn't say Rockstar blocks all VPNs. It's a known fact that Rockstar does in fact block some VPNs and/or VPN regions. No amount of firewall adjusting will change that on those VPN services either because they are IP block/range blocked.
