Auto Shop Setup Bug

My auto shop is at bare basic (lots of crates and generic decoration) and asks me to do the setup mission again everytime i change a play session. Has anyone else having this bug today after the weekly update?

I'm not mad at the bug per se, ♥♥♥♥ happens, but 1.5 days without a fix and without even an announcement? Has R* even acknowledged the bug?

Can anyone please confirm that they filed a ticked to R* support about it? I imagine a lot of people must have, but if not I'll do it.

I've got an open(ish) ticket on this here is their response.

My auto shop keeps resetting telling me that I need to set it up. I have owned the auto shop for quite a while and think something broke on the server side that is causing this problem. I reset up the shop and all was fine for a short while

I have the same gray car on my lift. Maybe it´s a car related bug. Maybe that grey car is faulty itself. Who else has the same grey car on their lift? Here is mine;

I've also got the gray Asbo on the first lift.
I can't tell if the first prep mission fixed the shop for me, but it's working for now, though i did not change a lot of sessions, so it might go south again.
But even if it works i still won't trust the Auto Shop to store my cars again, and after i figured out all the respray colors are unlocked in the Agency garage as well - i guess i'll ditch the autoshop altogether.
It's a pity to lose my american-themed garage fro muscle cars, but that's some typical rockstar crap, we expect no less from these guys.

Yeah the grey Asbo - I noticed it when it reset though it disappeared after doing the setup and was replaced with an empty bay. Interesting that the bay the Asbo appears in is also the very one which is bugged and doesn't spawn vehicles for me (same as your image).

Well, that bay always worked fine for me as my first lift. Then, a long time ago, cars stopped showing up in my shop. I read some solutions about buying the second lift so cars will show up again. I bought the second lift, and it really worked. Cars were back until some time ago, when they stopped appearing at all. This was fixed like 1-2 weeks ago until yesterday, when I got that gray Asbo in my garage. I will submit a ticket and especially point this car out.

I stand corrected - the Asbo was there only when i had to do a setup, there are two different cars on lifts in my Auto Shop now, so i suppose the gray Asbo is some sort of generic prop.

it's probably legit. If you do the first setup mission you can do the custom work on that car when you get back. You can also still customize stored cars they just kinda have problems with all the boxes in the way lol

I don´t think it was this week´s update which broke it. I already saw a screenshot of somone else´s Auto shop full of boxes and other weird props 5 or 6 days ago. I think, the main "culprit" of this issue is this grey Asbo car. Whenever one gets it delivered in their shop, bug happens.

A long before I get this f* car into my shop, I had made many deliveries without any problems. As soon as this Asbo car appeared in my shop, things went bad.

that may be the case right now my shop is working and Ive reloaded/warped a few times just to test it out. When I went into my shop there was a little grey car like mentioned. I did the setup mission and when I got back the grey car was gone and I had a SUV on the lift.

Im guessing if I log out tho, Ill have to redo the setup mish. We'll see.

Its possible that other means may have triggered the bug for others.

But this weeks tunables update is 100% the culprit right now. It broke everyones autoshop.

Fwiw it also appears that, if you purchased a vehicle after the tunables update went live, but before restarting the game, that vehicle is gone.

Edit: at least, if u had the vehicle delivered to the autoshop garage, anyway. Unsure if it affected all garages.

The Auto shop has been fixed for me. As somone else mentioned here, by finishing the first setup mission (Impounded car) everything went back to normal. I even had a four new deliveries within two hours of playing. Restarted the game, changed to many sessions (no public ones) and it is still there working. Hope it lasts.

Seems like its been patched got on today and noticed from mechanic that it was reactivated, went back to the shop and all the boxes were gone and everything seemed to be fine (i was just ignoring it because of the bug so i didn't move any cars or redo the start up mission) Hopefully this goes for everyone. Also im starting to wonder if this was caused from the introduction of the chop shop cause the bug only appeared for me after i had purchased a chop shop, probably wasnt the case just something to point out
