Error Code 0xc000001d

After months of not touching GTA V, I've gone to play it for this error code to appear when Rockstar attempts to start the game.

• My graphics drivers are up to date
  
• I do not have Rage, FiveM, LSPDFR, or any other mods installed
  
• I've reinstalled GTA V and Rockstar
  
• I cannot see any crash logs since this has started

What else have you done/tested? What else changed on the pc in those few months? Already deleted any NON .rpf files from gtav folder and verified files? By crash logs you mean launcher.log in my docs / rockstar games / launcher? 'Usually' nothing being populated there is lack of permissions, controlled folder blocking, etc. What .exe is pop'n up on top of the window frame (if you have a error/window frame) when this appears?

Start with renaming my docs / rockstar games to -old.
Next, if controlled folder access is ON (search windows for it) -
Make sure to add R* launcher, social club helper, and gta5.exe to allowed apps.
(yes, other av/sec could also possibly interfere)

Then I'd probably go to c / program files / rockstar games - there are folders for both:
launcher and social club with an uninstaller in each - uninstall both.
Rightclick gtav in steam, properties, installed files, browse installed files.
into /redistributables - and rightclick, run as admin both launcher and social club installers and reinstall them - preferably into the default location c / program files / rockstar games. If you have to use another drive, make sure it goes 'into' a folder.
Try gtav again

There's been many causes to this error over the years - with the point in the launch process changing here and there - ruling some things out. Possible to have problems with vcredists, corrupt installers, onedrive, admin/perms, temp folder/issues with install/extraction, 'debug' being on in msconfig, windows updates, windows defender/ 'exploit protection' settings -defaults are on on off on on on on. Other instances off top of my head recently involved under/overclocks messing with the game/launch process as well. There's even more but rule some things out to start with, or give some more details/info.
