Also, if you haven't completed all of the missions in the First Dose, do it. You basically get a free business out of it, the Acid Lab. Easy sells, $300k+ per full capacity sell.
Save for a sub. Do the Cayo Perico heist. Even in its nerfed payout state, Cayo is still a good score.
Keep your Nightclub popularity up and empty the safe at regular intervals.
Run the guns after depleting your first level of supplies, which guarantees a one vehicle sell.
Do these things and you'll never care about if a vehicle has a discount or not.
That's what I would recommend as the first property/business purchase for anyone new to GTA Online. With Agency, you can get quick and easy cash to fund your other businesses.
Doing the Dr. Dre missions (11 total, with 10k payout each, and additional 1 million cash for full completion) can take as little as 1 hour if you're proficient at it, or at most 2-2.5 hours even if you're new. And you can repeat it as many times as you want with the same 1.11 million payout.
Doing Agency security contracts gets you between 30k+ to 60k+ each time with only 5 minutes of cooldown, so I would suggest alternating between security contracts and Dre missions.
Agency payphone hits, even with the 40k nerf, still gets you 45k each time, but I don't do those anymore after nerf.
Most importantly, you should get an Armored Kuruma before anything else. This car makes PvE (fighting against A.I. enemies) trivial. You almost never take damage while in it, so you just shoot at enemies from inside with your AP Pistol without needing to worry about dying.
The High Society Leak finale in Dre missions becomes much easier with Armored Kuruma and AP Pistol where you can just tank everything the game throws at you and even shoot the helicopter out of the sky with your AP Pistol while protected inside your Armored Kuruma before it gets to the yacht.
Agency also lets you buy an Armory where you get free ammo, health refill and snacks + gun locker. You also get up to 24k cash per 48min passive income from Agency wall safe.
Agency + Nightclub (techs to Meth, Cocaine, Gunrunning, Counterfeit, and Special Cargo) are enough to make sure you never need to worry about money again. You can combine active + passive work from these 2 properties to earn millions of cash in a few hours.
Arcade
Kosatka submarine
^should be the 1st things you buy, easy millions after that.
Nightclub is great, but its somewhat pointless without all the other businesses.
I got it for the free 50k every 48 minutes. I have a warehouse too but I don't like the warehouse missions because too many times they are the seemingly difficult plane mission. It also seems like the cargo barely trickels into the nightclub.
My question about the Sub and the Heist it unlocks is, how hard is it to find other players for it?
Then make more money and buy next business. And so on.
And I recommend doing the Drug Wars missions: You get maybe the best super car in the game for free and acid lab business super cheap (fully upgraded costs about 1 mil and you almost get that 1 mil by playing the DLC ). Best part: you can call Mutt and he will do the supply deliveries ("gonna cost you") and you just do 1 delivery with 1 bike when the batch is ready. Easy and simple money and saves you time: the time you can use to do more money with other stuff.
My solo (beginner) warehouse strategy: I bought 5 small warehouses "close" to each other and I just fill them with the employee deliveries (7500$) and then do delivery when the warehouse is half full (8 or 9 pcs). Maybe not the best method, but I'm still making profit and saving time. Edit. Actually now after some more experience with the game I think I will start doing only those 16 pcs deliveries. Better profit and saving more time.
Edit. and don't forget that every 48 min you can do the mixed cargo delivery given by your office assistant. 50k for 4-5 min work. (Bunker has similar 50k delivery mission with the same 48min cooldown). You can make easy 100k for 10-15min work. Bunker deliveries can take little bit longer if your bunker location is bad and you have to do some combat sometimes.
Hopefully you JUST picked up the Autoshop with this week's discount and the savings is what motivated you to purchase it.. Before you go buying cars tho, you may want to consider a means to make better money first.
Your Office & Warehouse is a start, but you gotta put in time to make the money, it's not like passive MC businesses, Bunker or Acid Lab.. and I'm guessing your bunker is the free one way up in Paletto.. This location is so poor I would not recommend selling weapons out of this location.. just research until you can move the bunker, or do deliveries whenever you have just one bar of product.. if you try to solo a $1m sale of full product, you're likely not going to be able to complete it.. OFC it's different if you have help, in which case you should make sure you repay the favor..
A Nightclub is good for the 50k per day, but the safe is the only real income available until you have all of the MC businesses and upgrades (and upgraded the Nightclub too) and can make and sell NC products, but even this is slow.. I make ~1.5m every 3 weeks cause that's about how long it takes me to fill up 5 of the 7 product categories.. the other two categories are half full, but I'd rather sell product and refill the other 5 products in the same time it would take to do the other half of those 2 products..
Auto Shop is good this week because things are discounted and jobs pay more.. and right now this business probably feels like it's your most profitable and lucrative business (and you're not wrong given what you own), but there are better means of making more money.
Focus on either/both an arcade and/or a submarine. An arcade has a maximum daily earning potential of $5k and the safe holds up to $50k.. it's not a lot, but it can come in nice when you just dropped $5k on armor or $15k on ammo and need to recoup that quickly, but the main appeal of the casino is you can setup and complete casino heists where you can make up to 85% of the take (after Lester's Crew cuts).. with the lowest take probably being 1.5m in cash.
A submarine lets you set up a Cayo Perico heist. These heists can be solo'd, so you can take the full 100% (after AI cuts). While there are less setup preps to do, and all of the preps are designed to be solo'able, the preps are more unforgiving than the casino preps. Additionally, the heist finale is significantly more difficult to pull off without getting detected..
Once you have both the arcade and the sub, you will have the keys to make all the money in the game you want/need.. get there, then play with cars.. otherwise you're going to be struggling to get cars and businesses just that much more..
Also, if you haven't done it already, head up to Sandy Shores and go to the yellow "R" to start the First dose missions. Once you complete all 6 first dose missions, you unlock the acid lab for free (instead of buying it). Upgrades still cost money, and aren't available till you run 10 freakshop missions for dax by either calling him or visiting him in the freakshop.. these 10 missions should not be confused with the series missions in the yellow marker.
Once you've completed the 6 first dose missions and unlocked the acid lab, you can keep going with 5 additional "last dose" missions and completing these will get you a free Ocelot Virtue.. that's a $2m+ EV.. free vehicles are worth $0 when selling to LS Customs, so you can't profit from the car.. but you can save yourself some money by not having to buy it.. not to mention running these 11 missions will net you over 100k from mission rewards alone..
Once upgraded, and using the free daily production boost, the acid lab can make 100% product with about ~180% supplies (have to repurchase supplies to make 100% product, but once the product is full, the remaining supplies from the second order roll over to make the next batch) and this nets me $351k and can be done every couple of hours as long as you stay on top of reordering supplies from Mutt..
Last tip I can provide is whenever it comes to supplying your bunker, MC businesses or even acid lab, it's more cost effective to purchase the supplies and earn the money back through other means than it is to complete the resupply missions. Purchasing supplies costs $12k per bar, so 100% product is 5 bars, or $60k. If you do resupply missions, you fill your supply with one bar for each mission.. so you'll have to do 5 resupply missions to get full supplies which could take upwards of an hour to complete. There are easier ways to make $60k in far less than an hour..
Except id say ceo crates are a waste of time entirely. It takes forever to fill a large warehouse, and for what, a few million?
If cash is whats needed most, just join some peoples heists.
