Why are there so many cheaters in GTA Online?

I am honestly lost for words and do not understand how Rockstar is doing so little against them, yet finding time to add lots of random content?

Honestly I think I'm just going to boycott GTA online from here on out. It's flat out ridiculous people can't enjoy what could be a great game as is but instead have to cheat or glitch in one way or the other. I'll consider staying around for single player mode, but as for online, I'm done. Who's with me? ♥♥♥♥ cockstar at this point.

It's not fixable without turning the game into Quake by removing every single manipulable object ingame like cars, npc's, props, etc. Stop saying that it is fixable or that Rockstar are lazy or that "Punkbuster would get the job done" because it just makes you sound like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiots who know very little about game engines.

The reason it's easy to detect and stop ♥♥♥♥ in other games is because other games have a lot less going on and cheap anti-cheat software can build a heuristic on what is or is not supposed to be happening - you can't do that in a sandbox like GTA that has a million+ objects in a session without an AI as clever as a human watching the action, as it is we already get banwaves of false positives because the software can't tell what is or is not an exploit in the game.

So please, once and for all just accept that a complex game world would require a complex anti-cheat which doesn't exist and stop saying "Lazy Rockstar blah blah blah". Do you seriously think they want cheats in the game bypassing their shark cards? 0_O

That's a "gold seller" advertising their services or website, they infect every online game at some point - join, spam their details, leave. That garbled text means they play in a language that uses an alphabet other than latin or cyrilic and so your game can only decipher any numbers in the message or convert some characters to unicode, the other characters are replaced with a placeholder. Makes sense since gold selling is a huge business in Asia and most of these folks are Chinese.

They are likely offering a service to drop money on a player using a hack once you've paid a fee via paypal.

In RF Online we nicknamed the main marketplace 'Chinatown' because it would always be filled with level 1 characters that spammed this same nonsense 24 hours a day.
