Gta v exe missing in game folder please help

I just downloaded gta v to put some mods on it but the exe file is missing i dont know how to get it back can someone help me?

Do you have the ability to view the file extensions turned on in Windows? Perhaps you're just not seeing the .exe because the extensions are hidden.

Is gta5.exe in there? Yes? Great. Is gtavlauncher.exe in there? Yes? Great.
Then it worked. Start gtav through steam. You have the needed files - and something else is causing you problems. Probably the mods - I suggest you start over.

Compare your gtav directory to my screenshot - delete anything NOT in my screenshot.
(Ignore date/time/size/type --- leave commandline.txt if you use it)
Then delete the highlighted files in the screenshot.
VERIFY CACHE.
Try gtav~
