EASY ZENTORNO
but really the banshee is bugged last time i checked its no faster than a stock one with the same upgrades

both cars become super cars when fully upgraded but are not better than cheaper super cars

but if your going to do it any way sultan

banshee is cheaper to upgrade i think
well i already have super cars a sultan or banshee would be nice but dont know which is faster

If you're choosing either or them for speed you're looking in the wrong place. You might as well be asking which lowrider is the best offroad

The Sultan RS is nothing special. It's not even good offroad because R* logic dictated that it be no better than the other supers despite having many rally addons

The Banshee 900R was terrible at launch because it was much slower than the stock one. However this was not a bug like softspokenman says, its actually because it has a much higher drag coefficient than the regular Banshee and no more power to counter it. However they've hot"fixed" it by using scripts to apply a contant downward push on the rear wheels, using a glitch that can be triggered on some cars by doing the lowering glitch with them (Rapid GT is the most common one), making the rear wheels bump up and down causing an infinite curb-boost effect. For more detail on that see the video below

This gives the Banshee 900R the highest top speed of all cars in the game however it gets beaten by the Hakuchou and it's still not that fast around a track. This hot"fix" is likely a temporary solution until the next patch when they can change the handling.meta file for the car.

Overall they're about equal speed around a track and that speed is slower than the top sports cars, let alone the top super cars that R* said in their newswire post the cars could compete with

dude chill , I just want it for all the modding and showing but i want to know which would be better. but anyways I gave up and bought a zentorno instead
Rigor Morti5 22 feb, 2016 @ 7:26
I make 269.7 kmh=168.5 mph which is cap at freemode at several vechiles First is hakachoy 2nd is t20 3rd osiris 4th zentorno and they all hit same speed pretty much.

The actual speed cap is 333.5MPH which is the limit of the physics engine. I've tested this myself and you can probably find plenty of evidence out there to support this. There's no artificial speed cap under 200MPH. You can see here the speeds shown in this video, calculated using math (speed = distance/time)

He has more videos, one for each class. To save you the time I've compiled the top ones here
Hakuchou: 131 MPH
Banshee 900R: 130 MPH
Bati 801: 129.5 MPH
Z-Type: 126 MPH
Adder: 125 MPH
Dominator Racecar: 124.5 MPH
Schafter V12: 124 MPH
Ruffian: 122.5 MPH
Monroe/Osiris/T20/Turismo R/Zentorno (they're all tied): 122 MPH

Bear in mind that these are all on a straight, flat road. Hills, bumps and other factors can cause the top speed to increase dramatically

I have evidence to back it up in the handling data itself. Every car has an "offroad grip loss" value. This does, well the opposite of what it sounds. The higher the value the more straight line speed it loses offroad. The Sultan RS, the rest of the supers, and the majority of cars in the game have an offroad traction loss value of 1. Meaning the difference in performance on and offroad of the Sultan is exactly the same as it is with the T20, the Adder, the Zentorno etc. The Kuruma, currently the fastest offroad vehicle in the game, has a traction loss value of 0. The only other cars that get this value are incredibly slow ones like the Tornado and Peyote, and the actual offroad cars like the Bifta, Sandking and so on. Some cars get values in the middle like the Blade, which as an offroad traction loss of 0.9. This is why the Blade is the best muscle car offroad, as the only ones that don't have a traction loss of 1 are incredibly slow. Its also why the Jester is awful offroad. It has a traction loss of 1.25, the highest in the game and the only one to go over 1

If you want to see the handling data yourself, as well as all the results of the top speed testing posted above and lap times around a short balanced circuit by a skilled driver (a la topgear stig laps) its all in this spreadsheet

I have no problems off the tarmac with a Sultan, it's actually very enjoyable.

I'm not enough of a spider expert to bother with spreadsheets.

But as I said, in terms of actual pace offroad its no better than the other supers or sports cars

If your sole determining factor for which car to buy is how fast it will go off road, you might as well just get a motorcycle.

It isn't, I was just commenting on how the Sutlan RS is performance wise while also dispelling the myth that it's any good offroad, which it isn't

I guess you just won't get it, spider expert.

top speed does not = fastest heres why
most driving is stop and go you dont have an infinite uninterrupted road
a car the accelerates faster with OK top speed will be long gone by the time you reach top speed

side note they say the Benefactor schafter V12 has a higher top speed than a T20
does that mean its faster?

Fastest is a subjective term. That's why I put "fastest in terms of top speed" not just "fastest". It's also why I linked that spreadsheet as it also contains laptimes, the best method of finding out vehicle performance
