Actually my game is unplayable w/o vsync. Moving objects are kind of stuttering in the game.
970's are good cards but they are too weak to run all settings very high and not drop below 60FPS.
Can you send me your settings maybe? Playing with a 970, too. CPU is powerful enough and no probs with temps! In the city I have most of the time +60 fps (vsync on Nvidia settings - sometimes drops to 55 in the beginning of the game, I guess it is loading texture stuff), but outside of Los Santos I get mostly 50 fps in some areas (Sandy Shores etc).
i didnt enable any advance settings and im on ryzen 1700x vengeance oc 3200 and 1060 6gb
this is an issue with drivers so really you just have to update them and youll be fine that is until you have to update them again
when i had outdated drivers i had a fps drop to 20 fps from 70 fps and when i updated my drivers everything was fine so basically just update your drivers.
and a late reply so dont mind me
