Found a bug that reset my VIP timer :)

heres a trick i found.

TL : DR version - Start job like Exec search or a challenge. exit gta online to single player. load back into online. once in session CHANGE SESSIONS. Done

When you are VIP and have barely any time left on your VIP timer, i found you can reset the timer. Weather this was a fluke, or repeatable I do not know. It just happened as I was logging off but I wanted to post it and see if others can repeat.

Step 1. Be vip and have almost no time left on VIP.

Step 2. Right as your timer is about to expire select EXEC SEARCH - VIP JOBS and wait around until after your timer would have expired. (DO NOT GO TO THE JOB SITE) I have not tried but I think VIP CHALLENGES work too.

Step 3.Exit GTA Online and go to singleplayer to force a save while the job is still active. Once in singleplayer enter back into online.

Step 4 - When you get to the new session you will get a warning that your VIP TIMER has ended. if you go to your interaction screen you will notice it will still say SECUROSERV VIP and the timer will be stuck at 4 hours.

Step 5. - JOBS WILL NOT WORK YET. When i first did the glitch i re named the organization name at this point. I have not tested it but I do not think you need to do this. The jobs STILL wont work, and you will notice the VIP timer is stuck at 4

Step 6 - Change sessions again. If what happened to me happens to you, you should spawn in a session with FULL VIP timer, started at 4 hours counting down, with jobs working properly



I have tried it 4 time and it has worked all 4 times

MyVIP was OVER, but after i did this it was back to 4 hours. I did 5 missions after, quit the game, turned it back on, did a few more, and it was working normal, counting down, missions working, nothng wrong.

I did reseach about the issues and found that it is ineed a repeatable glitch, and may others have done this with no side effects.

also, if I was going to waste peoples time I would pick more compicated steps that took longer to do.

You can honestly do this in less than 2 minutes.

wow, so I post a glitch that is useful and works every time, and get no activity on the tread in 4 days. The stupid troll that trolled here gets 26 replies on his treads in under 2 hours.

I see steam community forums is a total waste of time.

after research i now know you cannot enter the job circle of EXEC search when doing this trick. Start job BUT DO NOT enter the circle
