buying the game in 2024

Why am i forced to buy a bundle of the game plus the DLC if i don't want to?
Are they seriously forcing us to pay for their online stuff if i don't want to?
if it's a DLC, why is it not optional?
I'm unable to buy the standalone game without coughing up the money for virtual currency!

Welcome to R* games. Enjoy your stay, or don't. They don't care. Many are 'disappointed' in the removal of base game only purchases and the forced inclusion of the CESP.

The 'regular' version that is available comes with the CESP - which they do not want.
(alongside the idea that if it were removed - that R* would actually lower the price)

for the story Gta 5 is great, i have finished it maybe few times now, for online, well i only regret that i have spend so much time there, so yeah its still worth to buy game in 2k14 just avoid online like fire, you will thank me later, there on discusions forum are "undercover rockstar community" who are usually are haters whoever speak bad about online, you can notice easily them and ignore what they say, anyway enjoy the story in case you get this masterpiece :)

Its great value for money - even if you dont use the online stuff, you will get ~100 hours of story mode and then the CESP makes GTA online accessible with heaps more missions to play

Online is great if you have friends , what the hell are you talking about...I know public lobbies are cancer but you can have heaps of fun with just a few friends and a private lobby

R* is really good at world-building, and story-lines. R* is also good at the amount of vehicles that are in the game. Everything else sucks. The micro-transactions are being pumped into the game. No taking your older account to a new gen console. Greifers, cheaters, and tryhards in every public lobby. It just depends how you feel. If you will play in invite-only lobbies, and/or single-player, you will be fine. The game still holds up nearly 10 years later, so if you want to buy it, go for it!

We are in a tight economy, if you are willing to drop extra $5, i can't.
