Are the fooligans supposed to be annoying?

I can't get my head around how bad the drug war stuff is;
- The background music is migraine inducing ear cancer.
- The fooligans are thoroughly uncharismatic and irritating.
- The missions are boring and repetitive.

I remember that scene where Ron is like "Oh you're not going to go with them are you? They're crazy!". If ever a moment needed Trevor and gasoline that was it.
"Fooligans". Jesus Christ.

It's obvious that drug wars was supposed to be Trevors DLC, but fell flat when they could not get Steven Ogg back.

I just started to grind the Fooligan Job missions to get the Acid Lab upgrade. They are the worst missions in GTA history. Well maybe Vice City's minihelicopter/droid mission was worse but Fooligan Jobs comes next.

And I have to do 10 pcs of them.... pheew

What if you don't own one, git gud?

Edit. Finally beat the merryweather. My best armor car was Duke so I just drove in with that. When that got destroyed, I finished the mission with grenade launcher.

You can always switch sessions if you get the Merryweather one and try again I've never gotten it twice

trevor did mention wades cousin in the story mode years ago has to be the case right

I agree.. especially since Dax references Wade in R*'s pathetic attempt to tie the characters.. Makes me wonder tho, if they did get Steven Ogg back, would they have gone a different way and given us new missions, or would we still be playing the same reskinned missions but with different cutscenes? Also, if they did manage to bring Steven Ogg back as Trevor a year after bringing Franklin back, would they have brough Michael back with some sort of heist loaded DLC? Did Steven Ogg help derail GTA Online?

The trippy missions are mission 4 on both doses.. So mission 4 and 10..

"high" and merryweather were the worst. I highly recommend watching some youtube etc how to skip merryweather's first part --> just go to the main location.
