SOURCE CODE LEAKED. GTA Online on PC is going to be unplayable in the next few weeks. Do not play GTA Online until Rockstar do something about it, you will regret it.

A source code leak means anyone can modify the game however he wants, you can get killed, kicked or even banned instantly if the cheater wants. Now it's actually real, the game is in serious danger and might even be closed if Rockstar Games don't deal with it.

It was a kid from a discord server who worked for ozark cheats, he got access to the source code due to GTA 6 leaks. Someone ended up selling the source code for him and he leaked it today. Please consider being extra careful this is not your daily cheater issue.

I will update this post with new information if something comes up.

You're better off playing better games that isn't GTA V/Online. That game is ruled by hackers/cheaters, and its a total cash-grab.

My account was hacked recently anyway and I'm not going to jump through hoops to get it back. I uninstalled the game after all these years. Not buying any game ever again where you have to use their game launcher and log into an account. No GTA VI either. I have plenty of other games to play.

Thanks for this. This is just horrible. Why do people do this? We can't have nice things because of these people who just want to control others. With the source code, they can basically screw people just because they looked at them in game and felt so insecure. This plus Gen Z and alpha clout behavior is horrible. Someone is going to have to have a power trip after they ban innocent players because "IT"S A PRANK!!!!! It was suppose to be a joke... don't be so mad.... this sort of people.

3GB of source code is actually a metric ♥♥♥♥ ton of code. So yes.

EDIT: its actually close to 17GB, unpacked. Avoid Online at all costs.

Source code is essentially building blocks for software. since it leaked publicly, cheaters, hackers and mod menu devs now have access to the code that makes the game run. This is devastating news for the play-ability of GTA Online on all platforms.

Its hard telling what could happen to people if they continue playing GTA Online, but it certainly wont be good. It will be a worse experience than it was before.
