GTA V on Linux - Problems with RS Launcher
Hello. I had GTA V bought on Steam sinche when i was on a Windows 7 machine. Now i'm trying to run it on Linux and, despite what many ProtonDB users report, I can't get it to work.

Firstly, simply clicking "Play" on the game either launches it for an indefinitely long ammount of time, or closes it immediately after being launched.
(GE-Proton8-25, arguments: PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 DXVK_HUD=1 WINEDLLOVERRIDES=winedbg.exe=d gamemode %command% -dx10)

Only the first time of launching it had an effect: an installation of Rockstar Games Launcher. I have installed it in the standard suggested directory (C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games).
After that I have tried adding some executables as side games in Steam and running them: Launcher.exe, LauncherPatcher.exe from path above: and GTAVLauncher.exe from .steam/debian-installation/steamapps/common/Grand Theft Auto V. All exectables were ran through GE-Proton8-25 with WINEDLLOVERRIDES=winedbg.exe=d, The result is always as follows:

The small black square would appear with an usual RS logo in the center. After the square appears, it may either remain as-is before closing after two miutes, or a loading bar may appear, going smoothly or jumping, before closing again. The results of this are unclear.

I have managed to run and actually use the Rockstar Launcher by running Launcher.exe thround Wine & Lutris. Although, here is says that I don't own GTA V and therefore can't install/open it. Searching for games gives no effect, and my product key is said to have been used already.

I don't know what to do anymore. Can someone help?

Ubuntu 20.04
All hardware is Intel. That apparently don't even support DXVK. It's a damn 500-700$ laptop. And you know what? I don't care anymore. At least bypassing the launcher would be a feat. And, this thing still somehow ran PAYDAY 2 fairly well.

Both on Arch Linux Desktop and Steam Deck it sets to Proton Experimental indicated in gaming mode of Steam Deck. "Runs on this computer via Steam Play. Proton Experimental selected by Valve testing." I tried GTAV with ProtonGE and it doesn't work and sometimes breaks the R* launcher entirely so don't mess with it. Proton-GE is not recommended for most Deck Verified high end games anyway like Hogwarts Legacy and even BG3.

Thank you! I managed to get into launcher and attempt to start the game by setting Proton Experimental and reinstalling RS Launcher.
