There are also other places to get savegames if you look around enough. Perhaps the one you have is just busted (also bad idea to only have one). Perhaps there are other issues we don't know about. Don't know what else you've tried. I sort of quit listening after the repeated posts in a short time containing only 1-2 words.
'almost' sounds like it 'could' be a permissions, onedrive, lack of admin, controlled folder access, or antivirus/security issue preventing writing of the savegame/settings, or something but without further tests - who knows. This sort of depends on when this started, how long it has been happening, if you can actually force a save 'before/after' the mission to 'test' that theory. Look, more ideas.
