GTA VI PC release date

Greetings all, wanted to make a thread to gather everyone's thoughts on what they think will be the release date for Grand Theft Auto VI for PC. My guess is 2026 October. What do you think?

so I compiled some release dates.. when I say console, I mean at least one console (most titles initially released on Playstation while Xbox release was delayed like Windows)

GTA3 came out for console on 10/22/2001 and released for Windows on 5/21/2002; 7 months later..
Vice City came out for console on 10/29/2002 and released for Windows on 5/13/2003; just under 7 months later..
San Andreas came out for console on 10/26/2004 and released for Windows on 6/7/2005; just over 7 months later..
GTA4 came out for console on 4/29/2008 and released for Windows on 12/2/2008; just over 7 months later..
GTA5 came out for console on 9/17/2013 and released for Windows on 4/14/2015; approx 19 months (just over 1½ years)

What's interesting is each of these dates, with exception of 10/22/2001, are a Tuesday.. the same day we always get new DLC.. so I think it's a safer claim that GTA6 will be released on a Tuesday than it will be released on PC at all.. that just hasn't been determined or disclosed yet..

Going with the theme, I'd say GTA6 should release for console late fall 2025.. as for making it to the PC, I think the days of porting over the entire game in half a year are behind us. That was when the game was a fraction of the size (and functionality). If there was a gap over 5 years between GTA4 and GTA5, and it's been 11 years between GTA5 and when GTA6 is released for console, then that 19 months will likely easily be 24~30..

IF PC sees GTA6, it likely won't be until April/May of 2028.. (2027 if we're lucky)

i wonder if steam will lose a lot of users when gta 6 comes out? because a lot of people will go to consoles to play it

I put my bet here.

3-6 months after console release is early release.

2026 is late release.

Im going to buy either a PS5 or a Xbox X sometime before release and play GTA 6 on the console. For some reason, I prefer playing games such as this on the console/TV setup. I won't even bother with the PC version this time.
