VI PC Requirements/Release Date Discussion

Yes there is no release date about PC unfortunately which im pissed.

No, I won't get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ console for a game to play. I have been searched about why this is not being released on PC with same consoles release date. Some made sense. Of course unoptimzations and PC doesn't work like consoles.

Let's go logically.

If a PC and PS5/XSX performs same with dozens of games (tested and confirmed) then we can say that pc is GTA VI's required pc to run. But PC versions of console games are different in a lot of ways.

My prediction about PC release date is 3-5 months after console release.


What do you think ?

What will be VI's required system to play ? And when will be released for PC ?

Um, I'm not sure people realize but you CAN have GTA V and not own it on Steam. It's like people forgot about Rockstar Games Launcher and that you can buy GTA games on there without owning a Steam version. It's how I own RDR2.

The person is talking about GTA VI though, so I'm not sure why that's relevant. After all, there are NO forum boards for GTA VI anywhere yet, which is why people talk about it on here. Don't be a ♥♥♥♥.

You can open Steam Discussions without buying the game. Ah are there any forums exist ? Well, yes (Reddit, GTAForums etc) . But decided to open this one on Steam because there is none.

My prediction is: Sep 2025 for consoles, Oct 2026 for PC (Rockstar store) and Dec 2026 for Steam.
If I huff enough copium I'd say there is a very slim chance it's an early 2025 release for consoles and a late 2025 release for PC.

You think they'll only have it exclusive to their launcher for 2 months? I really hope so XD. I fear that it will be much longer than that... I really hope that's not the case though, and due to the popularity of this game, will be on Steam day 1.

RDR2 came to Steam only 1 month after the Rockstar store. GTA Trilogy DE however, came to steam after one year but it was also released on console and PC at the same time, which makes it a bit of an outlier. I guess if we take the worst case scenario then Steam might come in late 2027.
