What makes you not want to buy GTA 6?

I know we're all kinds of excited but for sure there are those who are disappointed as well

Hmm..., here's my list:
- Premade characters. I'm tired of playing the Studio's characters and would rather play my own.
- I enjoy GTA Online way more than the SP game. More content, more fun. Meaning, that I'm far more interested in playing a new GTA Online.
- Not on PC. It's going to Console, in which I have no interest in buying a Console. I've ignored the PS3, PS4, and PS5, along with the Xbox mirror consoles. Put bluntly, I'm simply not interested in buying a Console.


That's pretty much it. I'm sure that the GTA 6 SP game will be amazing, but it isn't GTA Online so I'm not interested.

Drip feed.

Very long load times.

Well, as a PC gamer, knowing we'll get shafted until a year and a half later. Even then, that there'll definitely be more focus on Online, and no DLC will be released and the game will essentially be abandoned and ignored favor of Online.

Hell, they practically abandoned RDR2 singleplayer AND Online after it wasn't making as much money as GTAO. And Take-Two's abysmal and terrible treatment of the GTA Trilogy remasters shows me they have no respect for their old fans OR their old properties. And at this point, they really are more of a liability to Rockstar's creative talents.

They're the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bean counters creating a new GTA by "committee design", which is ALWAYS an awful way to inject any creativity or originality. Hell,I wouldn't put it past them to have made the singleplayer portion only 10-12 hrs long while the rest of the money, time, and effort is dedicated into GTAO 2.0.

Zero McDol's 1st and 3rd points and pretty well everything FEAR said. I will also add that it's also because Rockstar's unwavering greed, social engineering tactics, they adopted the FOMO strategy, their pulling content from their games, locking game content behind exclusive subscription, steep retail price (as always), etc.

Honestly, I could go on forever with so many reasons as to what makes uninterested in buying. There are too many reasons to list, but those are the primary ones above all.

Rockstar has done us all dirty for over a decade and we've put up with their BS time and again year after year. We stay faithful and loyal to them through the best of times and the worst of times and still, they cannot resist screwing over the consumer no matter how good we treat them when they wrong us (console players and PC players).

So, there you have it. That is what makes me not want to buy GTA 6.

@Iggy Wolf fantastic points about Take-Two. You also make a great point about the campaign being cut short to favour the onion portion of the game. I could see that happening honestly as I see so many other companies following this trend. Modern Warfare 3 is a perfect example of that. They don't want us enjoying single player or co-op campaigns, but be stuck in their live service game models. The big 'Gotcha!'.

If it remotely resembles this game in terms of the security (or the lack thereof), support, and the overall management philosophy of doing absolutely nothing about critical issues for a decade, I'll simply get it for free. No more supporting the kind of anti-player money grubbing practices we've all observed from this dev time and time again, like only patching bugs that directly affect their revenue.

No more investing in a company that won't properly support its own products, and the people who buy them.
