If enough frustration happens, then it is possibly believed that PC players will buy more Consoles.
Here are the facts though. The attempt will fail. The attempt has failed in the past. The attempt will fail in the present. The attempt will fail in the future. Why? Because anyone who wants a Console will have already bought it or be planning to buy one. Those of us who play exclusively on PC are only interested in PC; that's the plain and simple truth.
So yea, Rockstar, SquareEnix, and whoever else can do their exclusivity deals forevermore and I will constantly ignore Consoles forevermore.
When exclusive games come to PC, I'll be purposely waiting on a 50% or more discount. Why? Because if Studio's don't care enough to release games to all platforms on release day, then they better not expect me to pay full price for a year(s) late game. That also goes for Epic exclusives, or GoG exclusives. No Steam on release day, no full payment from me.
If Console Studios decide not to release to PC at all, then good riddance, because the exclusivity philosophy is a blight on modern gaming anyways imo.
I bet ps6 will be gta vi definitive edition full release 1.0
So....yeah. No surprise of any sort here. Console exclusivity especially for AAA titles is big money. Console manufacturers are paying millions of dollar to secure release exclusivity.
you bent over and said "Yes please".
They heard the message loud and clear.
