no, ps5 will allow for a lot of leeway, a 4080 is far more powerful than a ps5 same with your 13700k.

But in 2027 or 2026 there will be RTX 6000 series and more adavanced CPUs

as long as the game is released on ps5, any hardware BETTER than ps5 will run it.

ChickenBalls Dec 5, 2023 @ 8:48am
well it will still be inadequate in 2025/26
doesnt matter how much you paid for it
just ask those who paid over $2000 for the 3080/3090 a few years ago

no, most likely any ps5 era hardware will run the game, including the previous generation.
soruce: i bought a 2080, a 3080, a 3080ti 12GB and a 4080.

this is how console exclusive games work.

to others it wont likely work on anything below RTX cards.

It will not run well on slightly older GPUs
especially if you want to enable ray traced reflections and shadows and play on 1440p and higher

Just look at CP2077 which was released around the time the 30series was released and look at how crappy those 30 series cards run the game with the latest update lol

or GTAV when it was released in 2015 despite what it says on the store page back then the PC i had with gtx970 could just barely give me 60fps at 1080P and the best GPU couldn't run the game at 4K 60fps.

Console version will be more optimized and of course look way worse.

By the time it comes out you are going to need something more powerful than a 40 series card and a i7

Gta 5 will run on potatoes. 512mb vram. (Edit: sorry 1gb vram needed, was still low at the time)

Gta 6 will probably have the nvidia gtx 10 series as its minimums... 4gb vram(?)

By one site, recommend is going to be rtx 2070 8gb and 16G ram and minimum Nvidia 1650 & 12GB ram.

That’s is just speculation. It could be that a rtx 3080 will be minimum and 40 series recommended.

well is subjective, i've seen lots of people running the game at 30fps and having a good time.
and frankly most people who played gtav did so at 30fps.
