How I report modders on rockstar website

It's just a habit of mine to record all sessions and show all players in game at start of the video or when I suspect a modder. I do this so they can at least see who is there if the modder is sneaky and tries to make it look like someone else is killing me. Most times they are very obvious though.

*Edit: and I just found out you can go to their profile in game and see their real name if they are spoofing so I'll start trying that out.*<---nevermind that didn't work, profiles can be set to private.

Takes me 10 minutes to report someone. I either log out right away or they crash the game which saves me a few seconds(thanks modder).

Here is how I do it:

Step 1: Open browser and go to free clipchamp video editor.
Step 2: Upload video, it's ridiculously fast! Even a 2 hour session uploads to that website in a few minutes for editing.
Step 3: Edit video to shorten it as much as possible, the tools are super easy, just like on youtube but I do it through clipchamp because it uploads 1000x faster no matter the size.
Step 4: Click export and choose 720p resolution for super fast processing. Name it Player X modding. Then save to your pc and just remove the last string that says made with cliphchamp.
Step 5: Open youtube go to your channel and upload the video, doesn't matter what res you play on it changed it to 720p so it uploads in a matter of minutes. Create a playlist called gta modders to keep it organized.
Step 6: Go to rockstar support website and log in. Then go to gta 5. Then click online play. Then click report cheating. Fill out the application. Go back to youtube and find the video link and copy it. Then click submit, and it works while the video is still uploading and you can go back to your game while it finishes.

Easy peasy. Thoughts?

Great guide for helping people report, but sadly reports do very little to nothing. I've reported people on the R* website many times - the same players and over a span of half a year, nothing ever happened. For every one that Rockstar does shut down, another dozen or so take their place. Many will also repurchase the game for dirt cheap (or a hacked account) to carry on with their shenanigans.

It's an impossible to beat war, but bless you heart for fighting the fight!

For almost 5 years now I've been just reporting them for harassment, since they are often preventing me or a friend from playing the game.

Step 1: View their Profile from the Players list to go to their Social Club account.
Step 2: click the 3-dot menu and click Report
Step 3: Choose avatar or username, it doesn't matter.
Step 4: Choose this user his harassing me or a friend
Step 5: choose the applicable option and put something in the text box like "using mods to troll and harass my friend in GTAO"
Step 6: Submit.

Your method does nothing to get around spoofed names, and most long time modders spoof their name, so your method does nothing to them at all.
My method ignores spoofed names entirely, and is only stopped by modders who pay extra to get special features that I will not explain any further.

If you REALLY REALLY wanna send a modder to the shadow realm, you should do both methods.

Ya it's always going to be the hard way, I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff and the modders have tools to counter pretty much everything rockstar has, but since we don't know the details this is the best I can do.
I usually do both methods if I can but sometimes I never get that chance, they crash my game too fast. And I do realize I'm fighting a battle I can't win but this is how R* wants to deal with it so it's all we have. Video proof is best, because if you get some AI trained on speech patterns, you can identify people with insane accuracy, we all have mannerisms and you can't spoof that unless you are really talented and these guys are no Jim Carrey.

waste of time, takes you 10 mins per person and there are millions of people to report. so why bother plus it dont work as borg said. you cant prove people are cheating with youtube videos.

Read through those comments and tell me they aren't scared. Sounds like they are pretty scared to me. If it didn't matter they would say it in game proudly! I don't ever see a word about them being unbannable. If it didn't matter, they wouldn't hurry so fast to kick you. Everyone needs to be proactive and report these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Ya I just checked, no views haha...

I'm just playing solo lobby now. And to top it off, I just got out of a warzone 2 lobby with airstrike hackers. I wasn't sure if it was real until now. I had a game where my team won the match and the whole time my 1 teammate was landing airstrikes left and right. Like no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ way that's real right? Then today someone said the airstrike literally followed them. And you can dodge it really easy too, I've never been killed by an airstrike. I guess that new AI detection for FPS games is going to be useless in warzone lol.

Anyways, going back to invite only sessions. ♥♥♥♥ multiplayer games.

Pretty useless if you ask me. Rockstar doesn't do nothing with the reports. It is just there to make you think you helped out the community but in reality you wasted your time. I reported also dozens of people like this none have been banned.
