One Does Not Simply AFK in GTA 5

Hello Gentlemen

I have noticed that I cannot leave my character watching tv or on any camera's feeds because unavoidably I will be kicked from the game for being idle. It worked for a few years why does not it work now? The game is of course in borderless window.

They stepped on this because people were using those to AFK farm money. There's a bunch of passive income sources now that can be abused like that.

Yeah they don't want people being AFK, if you're looking for a method to afk the good old rubberbanding your controller works, or putting some weight on a key of your keyboard (do a maccro if you're less primitive than i am i suppose). I do that holding the E key while dancing in nightclub/music locker so i can unlock the achievements of dancing one hour to each DJ, i am not getting kicked doing this.
If you want to switch windows however, i have nothing.

Plug in a game controller and use a rubber-band to make your character walk in circles.
See if that still works.
You can go the same thing with the controller and rubber-band in your NC (dancing) or LS customs to gain RP and those dancing awards.
P.S.
Also comes in handy in single player when trying to get the Kifflom (whatever) stuff.

Then let them accumulate offline 24 hours a day.

OK, I didn't know about the unfortunate change. The rubber bands indeed then, but somehow it is riddiculous after so many years.
