I can't log into my rockstar games account, I hate that damn launcher.
Hello, what do I do if my email account is deleted and I can no longer log in because I get a message that this email does not exist in rockstargames? Can I unlink the Steam account to set up another Rockstar Games account?

Regarding unlinking - read their info carefully -
https://support.rockstargames.com/articles/22802682178707/Unlinking-your-Steam-account-from-your-Rockstar-Games-account
Add that into to the single use, non-transferable cd key they warn you about. No new account.

Otherwise -
Join the neverending flood of this nonsense since Jun 2023. Much info - click and read -
(includes info that can -hopefully- fix this without R*) -

tl;dr/lazy - use this link below to contact R* without logging in to RECOVER your account/fix/change email to one you have access to. Yep, many hoops to jump to prove you are the owner, have the steam account, cdkey etc, and days to wait/repeat yourself. They may even ask about shark card purchases or account link days as a form of verification - remember if you got one in a 'combo' when you got the game. It could likely count 'on their end'.

Don't unlink, contact R*, fix the email/recover the account.
/goodluck

edit - Nothing you can do but wait. there is no one that can help you - but them. As for the 'account got deleted' - in some cases, you can remake the account... YMMV with that email provider obviously.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rockstar support.

The rights to play GTAV are linked to both Social Club and Steam accounts. These accounts must remain linked or you will not be able to play GTAV or GTA Online with any of these accounts.

If we unlink your Steam account from your Social Club account, you will not be able to play GTA Online or GTAV with your Social Club account, even if another Steam account is subsequently linked.

However, if you still wish to proceed with unlinking from Steam, please contact us with the following information:

The nickname of the Social Club that you no longer want linked to Steam.
Screenshot showing that you are logged in to Steam, with your Steam profile name and your Steam64 ID.
The Steam ID64 written in the body of the request text.
Sign in to Steam
Click your Steam profile name in the top right corner of the window and select "Account Details."
Take a screenshot that shows your Steam profile and Steam ID64 clearly visible on the screen.
Copy and paste the Steam ID64 into your response
Confirmation that you understand that by unlinking the accounts you will not be able to play GTA Online or GTAV with any of these accounts.
Unlinking accounts will also result in the loss of progress made in Red Dead Online.
When replying, please reply via your email rather than via the support site.

Once we have this information, we can proceed with your request. We greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation during this process.

Best regards, Rockstar Support. They wrote this to me

Didn't expect anything else if you said 'unlink'.
You don't ask to unlink. You don't even mention unlink.
You want to get your account back by making the email on it one you can access.

They didn't send you unlink information because you said -
'my email was deleted, and I need to change the email on my social club to my new email so I can continue accessing my social club account in combination with my steam account."

I opened another ticket. Now the support people wrote me this:
Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rockstar Support.

We can help with this, but just need to verify that you are the owner of the email address you are using to submit this request. Please confirm that you are the owner of this email address by clicking “reply” from your email program and letting us know that you own this email address.

Note: This reply would need to be via email, and not by logging into the Support site and updating your ticket, for us to verify your email address.

As soon as we have this verification, we will investigate your account and get back to you as soon as possible with a resolution.

Best regards, Rockstar Support.

In the end I was complaining for many days. And I was able to recover my account. For people with the same problem, I recommend being persistent with Rockstar, if you have any problems, do not hesitate to ask Steam for help.

If rockstargames doesn't respond, create several entries.

Try telling Steam to confirm your rockstargames account, remember to be persistent with comments. Those from rockstargames are also going to ask you these things:
Steam screenshot and invoice from some rockstar game or something like that

are you using the correct support link?
https://support.rockstargames.com/categories/200013106?step=9c11f443
if you still have access to the old email just tell them you want the email reversed to the old one and that it was changed by some on other than you.
should not take any proof to do this.

In the end they told me to show the invoice or receipt (I don't remember) from Steam, where I bought the game at the time. (You can get the invoice on Steam) That's how I solved the problem. It allowed me to change the email for another one and change the password.

I haven't used my account for a year and when I went to play Red Dead Again I couldn't log in. I get error messages. I contacted Rockstar using the compromised account option because that's the only way you can actually create a ticket. Then I just get the same nonsense over and over from idiots reading a script. Reply with the email you complained about. Provide email copies of receipts of games you bought 6 years ago. Provide a day month year that some unknown change was made to your account. So they asked these stupid questions knowing that nobody can possibly answer. So now I can never play any game ever made by Rockstar in the past or future. Every fix that was stated in this thread is incorrect. You cannot show your steam receipt as evidence of purchase. They want emails. Being persistent does not help. I have gone through the same nonsense at least a dozen times. I get the exact same replies every time.

I guess I don't have to worry about waiting another decade for GTA 6 to come out, since I can buy it but I'm not allowed to play it.
