Steve Scott, Phil Cassidy, Mitch Baker & more..

Was just thinking of some of the characters from GTA Vice City and how it'd be cool to see them a part of GTA6.. Unfortunately Burt Reynolds (Avery Carrington) and Ray Liotta (Tommy Vercetti) have both passed away, but Gary Busey (Phil Cassidy), Lee Majors (Mitch Baker), Dennis Hopper (Steve Scott) and others are still around.. anyone else have Vice City characters they'd like to see, or think we will see in GTA6?

Won't happen. You do realise, that GTA VI is part of the HD era (as R* calls it)? Old Vice City was in the 3D era and R* made it clear, that those are different continuities, meaning that GTA VI Vice City will be vastly different with different characters. Same applied to Liberty City in GTA IV and Los Santos and Blaine County in GTA V. Even the famous Groove Street, that's in the Strawberry neighbourhood instead of Ganton, is different from GTA San Andreas. The characters might be referenced as possible easter eggs, but they won't physically appear in the city itself. It's really nice and all, that their voice actors are still around, but the characters have no relevance in the HD era.
Go to the GTA wiki and read about the various eras, no character from the 3D era is bound to appear in the HD era, except few minor ones like Lazlow. Apparently he's supposed to be the same guy who appeared in every game (on various radio stations), just in the HD era, his past had a little bit different take. He still lived through some of the famous events, only those events in the HD era were a little bit different. It's like alternate realities, you see. So easter eggs possibly, physical appearance with voice acting, I think not.

Thanks, I didn't remember this and when I researched these actors last night, I couldn't find a death date for Hopper, but I'm finding one this morning.. #MandelaEffect
