PROBLEM ON STARTING UP

Hello Everyone! I have been facing a problem on starting GTA V. It was all okay until the new recent CHOP-SHOP UPDATE. After the updates, when I opened my game, it runs for 5 seconds then closed by itself. So, to solve this issue I searched on YT and tried all the methods like:
1. Verifying the integrity files.
2. Clearing the downloads cache
3. Re-installing GTA V
4. Re-installing Rock-star launcher
5. Updating my graphics drive
6. Updating my windows
7. Removing all ticks in compatibility
But still I am having the same issues. The game opens for 5 seconds or sometimes 3 seconds then it gets closed by itself. Is there anyone who can help me with this situation?
If you know the solution, please let me know, it will be a-lot to me.

If you use storymode mods, they are busted after the update.
Disable, remove, or downgrade.

Otherwise.. how far do es it get? Launcher? Black box/star? Sirens? Menu?

Can I ask what solved the issue for you? I also have found I can't get past the opening splash screen all of a sudden. I'm not sure what changed. I've been playing for years and even started the new DLC and finished the police raid mission. Now today I can't boot up the game.

delete this file dinput8.dll or do the methods that I hvae tried which are mentioned in my discussion

Like you click on the "Play" button, it says Loading/Running or whatever, nothing happens and then it goes back to a "Play" button? I had that issue before I had to reinstall my windows OS due to a system issue caused by winblows updates and the only way I could get around it was to run both my Rockstar and Steam launchers as admin. This can be done in the .exe file properites, or by right-clicking their short cut icons in windows and running as Administrator.

Something about this permission allowed the two launchers to communicate and load the game, but if they weren't both admin privileged, they wouldn't communicate and the game wouldn't load.

It's not consistent. Most of the time I get the splash screen where you hear gun shots and the wanted stars go up and it crashes at 3-4 stars.

Occasionally I get past that and I get one of the loading screens but it will crash during the load.

If I try to load into story mode instead of online I mostly get the same results but on two occasions I got the screen you can pick online, story, settings, etc but if I select story or online it will crash.

Ok... so if any of my fellow GTA players out there are fighting game fans like I am, don't leave your lever-less fight stick plugged into your PC when you launch GTA. I unplugged my Razer Kitsune and GTA immediately resumed working.

Various usb devices/drivers breaking gta5 since 2015. Gotta love it.
