GTA online nerfed Cayo perico once more

Haha that is funny... i never imagined sinsimito payout getting REDUCED...
never thought it could go cheaper.

IDK what Rockstar was thinking but this reduction is only going to punish those of us who play the game fair. the modders will get more money as we struggle to keep up with them.

in effect, us FAIR players is alienated ONCE MORE...
keep your GTA Online and trash GTA 6 its gonna be the same Rockstar attitude anyway.
im actually angry that they NEVER DO anything against modders and hackers yet they keep punishing normal players.

I often wonder, when are people going to take me seriously when I say, "Boycott!"? It's the only thing that is going to force things to change, but it seems like gamers are too much in denial to accept that it's literally the only option left. Deep down we all know what needs to be done, but I can't fathom why so many are in denial of it and refuse to take action. Companies have stopped caring, listening to their communities and doing whatever they want, to maximise their profits while sacrificing or scaling back the level of entertainment and replay value, enjoyment, mechanics, rewards and so on, for the players.

To add to it all, as if all that wasn't bad enough, we now have 'support' systems that are simply nothing more than avoidance systems to shrug off customer support.

We are numbers. We are figures. That is all we are to these big companies now and have been for the past 30 years. It all started at the arcade when businesses and companies saw just how easy and profitable milking players of their hard earned money, actually was. Since, this problem has exploded and exponentiated into a monopoly of insatiable greed in the industry.

If majority want the chaos to stop or be reverted even in the slightest for that matter, collectively they can achieve this, but in order for it to work, everybody needs to get on the boycott train and ride it for about half a decade. Resist. Have some self restraint. Quit playing and supporting Rockstar. The more and longer people continue to play, the more reason Rockstar has no reason change or do better.

I will never understand how people are willing to take blow after blow after blow from companies and still continue to use their products and support them. Sure sometimes options are pretty limited, but all we can all do is the best we can do, to try to make the situation a little or a whole lot better.

Seriously, is it that hard to walk away and play other games from companies who aren't a degenerate corporate evil? Why would you even support and play a company's games that blatantly takes advantage of and abuses their community so frequently?

Is the current spiralling state of the video game industry really what we want future generations of gamers to experience? Change starts with you.

Think long and hard about this all. If left to spiral out of control, things are going to get a lot worse in the video game industry. You have a chance and a choice to make a difference for the future.

That's kinda OP's argument tho.. knowing the replay glitch and cheesing with the replay glitch are two different things.. sadly, in R*'s infinite wisdom of trying to deter players from using said glitch, players that are playing fairly are punished and deterred from doing the heist even more..

People have been doing replay glitch since when the OG heists was released and yet they never nerfed any of the other heists, not even the Bogdan problem finale. It actually got a payout boost lol.
The only reason why they keep nerfing the Cayo Perico is because they thought it was preventing beginners from buying Sharkcards

You're not wrong about why they're nerfing Cayo.. but I still believe the only reason they're nerfing Cayo is because it is the most popular heist. The nail that sticks out the farthest gets hit the hardest.. and if a new player asks the community how to make money, 9 times out of 10, that answer is going to include running Cayo heist and Cayo heist is likely to be recommended more often than Casino heists or even the Dre Contracts..

Add in the fact that all a player has to do to get started with Cayo heists is buy a Whale shark card $4.25m for $50 USD and then they can buy the sub, sparrow, and keep setting up and knocking down this heist till they own everything.. with no more need to buy Shark Cards..

The only other business I know that you can buy without pre-req's that would be remotely close to this lucrative are the Arcade and the Agency.. and again, majority of players would recommend/suggest Cayo over Casino or Dre Contract.. so Cayo's a nail that's sticking so far out, it's looking like they started with the wrong size in the first place..

Encouraging players to play multiplayer is not a bad thing, but I don't want to play with cheaters just to get a higher payment, only then to get banned because I played with a cheater. R*s logic is so smooth-brained. How about making new content instead of nerfing existing content. I blame it on some of the Youtubers. Youtubers months ago said, oh wouldn't it be nice if R* encouraged players to play multiplayer. R* turned around and said at their meetings "That's a great idea! Lets nerf Cayo Perico even more, and make it so that you want to play it with other players!" To that I say, suck on my taint, R*!
