Just remember you need to do it during their business hours, not yours. (time zone)
Deleting stuff and reloading would not fix it.
A couple of updates went buy and never caught it.
I don't have a link handy, but if you can't find it on the support site just come back here and ask and someone will probably drop you a link.
I believe you click Files, and on that tab there should be a button to click that says something like file integrity.
Let that scan all those files, and if any are missing or corrupt, it will replace them automatically.
Reboot your PC, and try it again.
It would also be helpful to respond to any of the suggestions, with an update if it worked or not. It would help everyone with a similar issue.
I'm here all the time helping people.
I am not guessing about anything.
It's worth a try just to see and learn, go ahead.
Validating your game files will not do it.
Deleting any combination of Social Club or Cache folders won't either.
A complete re-install won't either because the cloud will just put you right back where you are.
I got 7000 hours in-game and I'm telling you R* will have to re-sync your game to their cloud. BECAUSE it's an issue in the cloud, that's why nothing you do on your end will solve it.
Prove me wrong if you can.
If you are signed into the social club, you will see the CHAT TICKET bottom left.

Just fill out the question boxes and describe your issue.
Choose the CHAT REPLY option.
And wait.
And wait some more ... LOL (sorry)
It' won't take that long, even though it may feel like forever.
They've seen it before a million times.
Won't take them but a minute to fix it.
It will probably take longer than the minute shown before someone gets in the chat, it took me about 30 minutes the last time I did it for this exact issue. But they will, and they 100% will know what the deal is.
Don't waste your time RS doesn't care, all they will tell you is explain to them and they tell you they can reset your account to fix it, which is BS, go through all that work again to have it happen again! It's their fault and they never fix things.
