Eclipse Tower, Apartment 3
So I see Eclipse Tower has these customizable apartments now, and notice that Penthouse 3 costs 1.1M. I remember this being more than what I paid for the suite I own at Eclipse, which I believe was listed as "Apt 3." I also notice that there's no apt 3 listed, only penthouse 3.

I don't believe my current suite at Eclipse is customizable, so I don't think that I have "Penthouse 3." so where does that leave my current property, which is listed as "Eclipse Towers, 3"

you have to rebuy it and from there can decide what style you want, i think

When you buy the penthouse you can trade in the apartment for cash back toward the purchase. Your cars will automatically be moved.

What I was getting at was that Apartment 3, as far as I can tell, doesn't exist anymore as a purchasable property. Only people who currently own it can ever own it. Is that correct?

No i dont think that is correct, but i can log in and check right now because i recently sold that one for the penthouse. brb.

Properties you already own will not show up.

Edit: Yes it is still for sale. And it looks like everything is discounted, so now is the time to buy if you need a property.
