Blurry game

I have a 1080p monitor, i launched gta 5 and it looks blurry im playing on 1080p, but when i bump my resolution up to 1440p the game looks fine but i lose fps, if i was playing story mode than id be playing on 1440p no problem, but im playing online and i dont want to play on 1440p because i lose a lot of fps.

1080p does not look as good downscaled on a 4k monitor.
why it's pointless having a 4k monitor if your not playing in that resolution.

even an old gtx 1070 is able to run the online mode at 1440p ultra maybe its time you upgrade your potato

if it's a 1080p monitor then how and why are you playing in 1440p?

I'm using DSR-factor in Nvidia control panel, that's how I'm able to run games at higher resolutions

Ok, so put it back to 1080p while your playing online then.
If it's blurry it sounds like your settings are jacked up or something. Deleting your settings.xml might help

could be a few things. I would check to see what power mode your PC is in. Put it in performance when gaming.
How are you determining the low usage?

I got between 30-50% GPU usage when playing online and story mode.

Surprised the GPU utilization is that high at those resolutions.
It's not a bad thing.

Well like 3 days ago I was getting around 80-90% GPU usage on 1080p
