A cheater figured out I reported him!

There was a cheater in a session messing up with everyone, I was quiet at my apartment reading the text chat about players telling the player's name who was cheating, I was watching the player's characteristics especially the player's level, then I decided to report him, after this he put me out of my apartment and I quit game, I got scared about what he was able to do.

I rarely join public session nowadays, but after this horror moment, I won't join it anymore, I don't know what they're actually able to do with honest players especially the ones who report them "anonymously".

The way as I see it, there is no salvation for GTA Online PC version unless play invite only session with friends, otherwise it's very dangerous playing on public session.

This.. don't even bother reporting them, don't bother talking crap.. you don't want to end up on their watchlist cause then you won't even be able to play in invite only or closed friend lobbies without them messing with you.

kr3m has a good point. Most menus have an anti report protection. They just say who is being a goody two shoes. And a lot of menus have a watch list where they can store people's name. It's like a tool where they can see when you are online and it alerts them. They have done this to the game devs. To annoy them. Avoid public lobbies now. Don't be a hero unless you have a vpn or a good mod menu with excellent protection. Kids with scripts now are so trigger happy that they will chat in the open about finding people's location or IP address. They are that scared that they project their power on to others. Welcome to the stupid side of humanity....

Report cheaters for harassment using Social Club. Cheaters can neither detect nor block that report.

The only real way that works, is to download medal.tv or use Nvidia shadowplay if you have it, to capture footage of the player cheating. Supply all information requested for the report ticket, they will get banned. I've been well over 20+ people this way.

They don't have to figure it out, they see that's you reported them and for what you reported them.

Doing it this away does absolutely nothing also, only thing it will do is waste your time. Rockstar doesn't care about any reports ingame or website.

As much I hate to say it, reporting ingame does nothing. They got protections against it and mostly it does lead to nothing. Rather go to Rockstar side and make a ticket with a video as evidence and your chances to ban that dude are more likely

Reported numerous people like this not a single person has been banned nor has anyone from rockstar viewed the video, the option is only there to make you think they care.

Yep Just leave. I even see these lowlife ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ use hacks in Heist. Like for e.g when you need to drive all the way north for the start of a heist to begin and you suddenly see a dot spawning there instantly after you leave apartment...I insta leave the group. Whats the ffing point even for playing when you cheat in a heist...theyre usually exceptionally bad players aswell.
