couldn't really tell you, never timed them.
The mines that you can throw by hand does activate slightly quicker.
Also in case there are more than one enemy behind you, make sure you place them pretty far apart, take's a little trial & error to figure how far and also depends on the speed of whats behind you. If you don't get them far enough apart, the flaming wreckage of the first vehicle can detonate the second mine.
They can also be used to create a traffic jam which slows the enemy down.
Let you figure that one out, hint though - they are only NPC's. lol
There's no blinking LED in y proximity mines and are not triggered by objects moving near them.
There are blinking lights on them..
Proximity definition = nearness in space, time, or relationship.
That's why they call them proximity mines, to close they go boom and even a blown up vehicle can trigger them..
But mine has no blinking LED. I know how proximity mine works. It just that it;s bugged so I'm trying to know if other players are experiencing the same.
But a quick question, do you have sticky bombs & if you stick one on the ground or object do they have a blinking light or not? Yes btw, they have a red blinking light also.
All mines that blow things up are red lights.
The one you toss by hand is there, but are harder to see..
green for the mines dropped by agency vehicles. think these are also called sticky.
But they make the road slippery?
The other type on the agency vehicles?
Don't have a vehicle equipped with these myself, but I'd assume green also?
Just checked in game, they also make a beeping noise.
Try these away from traffic (storm drains are a good place)
Not normally hanging around to listen to them beep, something I wasn't aware of until today.
And as in asked, story or online?
Nope, but you can shoot them to make 'em go boom! (didn't even think of that in the above)
Sticky bombs are manually triggered via the g key (if default bind)
Still on story? Been a long time since I did story mode.
But I remember where you can find some in story mode...
